OHIIH, oh my! My mother came home early once to find the cleaner in the bath. Using her Chanel, which annoyed her even more!

Looby, can I be your friend too? :)

Beds - we have ordered this but it won't arrive until end of Feb. I love And So to Bed beds.

ABO, I think you will like the olive J Brands. I wore them loads last summer. Are the Blochs comfortable?

Sophable, great coat and dress.

I don't know what to wear to my brother's wedding and have no money really now because of the missing parcels. I was going to wear Bloss's dress in black with gold sandals but don't really have a bump. I'd better model it later for dh and see what he thinks. My other dresses are all casual.

carciofi · 12/01/2011 09:27

Bunny, LTEC and Reine, looking forward to meeting you next Tues. I can do whatever time suits you guys.

hellsbelles · 12/01/2011 09:34

Looby - can you add me? I need to catch up but I need to see pics Grin

traceybath · 12/01/2011 09:38

Esher - am loving us as orinoco and tobermory Grin. Lovely bed too!

OWW - how was the warehouse dress?

LTEC - are the green snakeskin shoes different to the gold ones? Or am I going mad?

Bonsoir - so you didn't go to the marni preview?

Roma - meant to say your outfit sounded fab yesterday.

Looby - please may I be your friend too Smile

Ooooooh - very excited about your potential birthday presents - fingers crossed its NAP.

Madam - meant also to say lovely dresses.

Hi Sophable - loving your purchases.

Grotty day here - wore anya barbour and then realised it was chucking it down so shoved on rain hat which is also barbour - looked like an explosion in a barbour factory Hmm

loobylu3 · 12/01/2011 09:39

carciofi- I've added you. That bed you linked to is exactly the same one my sister has! I really like it :)
She bought her first flat recently and I was sending her loads of links (that was one of them)!
Of course, 'And so to Bed' beds are beautiful and the settings so glamorous!

ABO- I think I forgor to say- like your olive skinnies v much. Can anyone link to the gold blochs which also sound rather nice?

FritziGreenEyes · 12/01/2011 09:41

Looby can you add me too please?

carciofi · 12/01/2011 09:42

Looby, what a beautiful family! Blochs

loobylu3 · 12/01/2011 09:55

OOh, those are lovely carciofi- I love sparkly things! Sadly, they are sold out on my size but perhaps that's a good thing....

NY and roma- you are putting us to shame with your outfits!

LTEC- please you enjoying stroking your green and versatile, snakeskin shoes :)
I would love to be able to wear such heels but fear that I would fall over and look like a fool!

LetThemEatCake · 12/01/2011 09:57

tracey no was joke as dexter called them green and lol'ed that I would consider green snakeskin versatile
Grin

oh yes looby very with my balding pate. Was meant as comp though, tis a line from Some Kind of wonderful (you have to insert American teen accent)'he is like, excessively easy on the eye ..' said about hottest guy at school. A seminal line, one of my faces!

loobylu3 · 12/01/2011 09:58

fritzi and tracey- I added you too.

If anyone has any private photos, could I have a little peek too please?

tracey- was looking at my rather large home magazine stash this am. My favourites are "The English Home' and 'Period Living" for traditional/ vintage type ideas and 'Living etc' which has some gorgeous modern homes if you are looking for inspiration!

loobylu3 · 12/01/2011 10:02

LTEC- I am sure no one would notice your tiny patch at all. I did know it was a complement, although didn't know it was from a film- I was just teasing! It's so hard to know when you have never met people- sorry :)

MarshaBrady · 12/01/2011 10:07

Sparkles have arrived!

And I am.... undecided!

They glitter like billy-o which I quite like Grin. But black. I need a shoe for the day... possibly too black. I shall ponder some more and I have the wrong outfit on, Wang skirt, ecru tights.

Reine I feel very pleased you have a Muji bed too! Smile

blossoming · 12/01/2011 10:09

Just quickly, carciofi, what about your dkny dress?

DolceeBanana · 12/01/2011 10:12

Hello everyone...

Off to friends for coffee this morning. DS very tricky on way to school...lots of strops, but all smiles and love and kisses when I left him, thankfully because he is going to a friends after school for a play and clearly sensed that this may be off limits if he didn't amend his behaviour!!! Canny lad.

Bloss...yahhoo...baby walking...uh oh!! DD is still little wobbly, but getting there. I think its such a wonderful milestone! Ooh DD has shoes now...she loves them.

Tracey...we have a teeny television...can't abide large ones...Thanks for positive vibes on house front...Smile

Cake - hope alls well on heakth front. Frustrating when you have to wait...but best to get things sorted...

Carciofi - love that bed too....

Zembo - welcome back!

Have lovely days all....

LetThemEatCake · 12/01/2011 10:14

One of my FAVES!! Not faces

DolceeBanana · 12/01/2011 10:14

Loobylu - I have an obscene obsession with home and fashion magazines...which I have always had..even at 18 I was buying House and Garden Hmm

LetThemEatCake · 12/01/2011 10:15

One of my FAVES!! Not faces

loobylu3 · 12/01/2011 10:18

Oh goodness, don't seem to be able to spell- compliment not complement! It is a good line cake.

blossoming · 12/01/2011 10:24

looby, tell me more about yourself: what's your (natural) hair colour, eye colour. Do you wear gold or silver. Do you suit cream or white best?

blossoming · 12/01/2011 10:26

looby, you look a bit like the model here no?

carciofi · 12/01/2011 10:27

Bloss, I thought it might be a bit casual but the shoes might jazz it up a bit.

I just rang the hospital to book a private room for after the delivery as I heard you could go NHS and then pay for a private room. The person I spoke to was very nice and tried not to laugh as she explained it was not a hotel and I could only request a private room on the day! Blush Grin

blossoming · 12/01/2011 10:33

Ooh, my Pure jacket arrived. It is LUSH!!

I may post photos later. And my pashmina, honestly the service of Mypashmina.co.uk is fantastic.

carciofi, could you 'bling' it up with a necklace too? Or tie a scarf, jauntily round your neck?
The deputy head of the school I was at yesterday looked so stylish. She is a large woman, but boy can she dress well. She had a scarf round her neck. Looked amazing.

carciofi · 12/01/2011 10:38

Glad you are happy with the jacket, Bloss, it looks lovely. I've bought from MyPashmina before, they are very good.

I will have a trying on session tonight.

blossoming · 12/01/2011 10:43

It has long arms!!!!!

roary · 12/01/2011 10:50

Hi all
DH back in the good books, has given me some more money and I am going to suggest I pay for Ocado with his card till I go back to work. Love the line about kids not remembering a tidy house. I suspect actually that given kids always do the opposite of their parents that maybe our two will be very tidy! SO I am training them up by being messy.

New cleaner is here, it's our pseudo-housekeeping arrangement where she comes 2x week and does some laundry/ironing/folding too so we'll see how that goes.

Carciofi I reckon you could totally wear that dress to a wedding. Just needs a Statement Necklace and perhaps one of the cardigans or wraps from your growing collection Grin

ABO I like those olive skinnies a lot and also the JCrew cardi you linked to yesteray. But the skinnies looked all sold out to me?

looby can you add me? I have added you.
