New thread

hells I have been meaning to say that when I was TTC DD2 I was DX with high FSH and thought I was heading to early menopause. I started taking a supplement at the time as well as all sorts of other natural remedies. Not sure if it worked but I did have DD2 so you never know - PM me if you are vaguely interested in hearing about any of it. I could probably even send you some of the supplements unused if you had any interest.

Let's say it does Cake. Let me know when is good for you.

I am going a bit swallow-scarf wild, shored on by Choo and Cake 's approval. Am getting one for me and for two friends who have birthdays soon (mine also soon and have a terrible affliction in that I can't buy for others without buying something for myself. Might explain why I'm so generous with gifts..?)

eshermummy · 09/01/2011 22:23

Apuski - love that dress - was thinking it was a poss M.U.D. (Meet Up Dress) but no longer in my size anyway.
We are going to have to clear our choices first aren't we or there are going to be duplicates!

Pickled- Festival lovely wasn't me - that's the lovely Everything Smile

DTI10 · 09/01/2011 22:26

KK is a top model. I don't want to give too much away on this thread. I have no idea what to wear to the meet-up either.

eshermummy · 09/01/2011 22:29

DT you are a sweetheart but the only amazonian supermodels I saw at meet-up were you and Cake.

What about the new red Joseph for meet-up with some killer heels?

Keep wondering whether it will be warm enough in March for bare legs or if it will be opaques all the way? I think last year March was still freezing wasn't it?

redllamayellowllama · 09/01/2011 22:29

NY, I watched ET with DS over the festive period (he's far too young for it, probably shouldn't have, he was more interested in his train set) and OMG, I do love it. Your lovely DD - those moments are so precious.

notyummy · 09/01/2011 22:31

Ah right - have worked out the KK thing after the model hint!

LetThemEatCake · 09/01/2011 22:38

one of the kardashian girls?? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

LetThemEatCake · 09/01/2011 22:40

oh no, that would be me. Or, more precisely, my arse Grin

bunnymother · 09/01/2011 22:40

Feeding again!

Llama - love that scarf! On my shopping list...

Mac - oh, you sound so relieved am not offended - you poor love, I know JUST what its like to be candid, then wonder if gone too far. DO take care of yourself, BTW - you are doing A LOT, whilst missing your DH, too. And what a beautiful text he sent you. A virtual love missive.

Ooh - am not that lovely (although delighted that gave that impression Grin), but thank you Smile. Are you going to get the jacket, do you think?

Cakey - re your protectiveness, I am a shocker like that - my sister is sick to death of my grudges against anyone who has slighted her (they last longer than her own grudge).

notyummy - watched The Brain: A Secret History and found it fascinating - thank you for suggesting! Some of the experiments I remembered from studying psych in college, but it was really good that segments of the experiments were shown, rather than just references made. Some were quite disturbing. Looking forward to the next one.

LetThemEatCake · 09/01/2011 22:41

apuski that dress is amazing.

God I am doing very badly with work tonight. Hop to it Cake! Hop!

pickledsiblings · 09/01/2011 22:43

Where's vin then?

I'm hoping for opaques in March Grin. Is it seriously only 8 weeks away?

So far I know what the following ladies look like:

Everything
Bunny
LTEC
Mrs Juan
Carcofi
NY
Bloss
ABO
Petitdonkey
OWW

Who else has got pics on their profile that I've missed?

pickledsiblings · 09/01/2011 22:50

I love the Warehouse swallow scarf. But I already have and love this topshop duck scarf. Do I need two bird scarves?

I also have this bird belt which I love, love, love.

loobylu3 · 09/01/2011 22:54

bunny-you are so sweet and thank you for taking it as a friendly reminder although it wasn't directed at you but more a general remark about my awareness that lots of people probably do read this thread!
It can be v hard online like this when you don't necessarily know people personally and don't have the advantage of being able to assess facial expressions/ reactions, etc.

I am frustrated this evening as DD2, who is unwell, has still not gone to bed, meaning that I haven't been able to achieve anything at all! I also still haven't managed to sort the photos out- am thoroughly incompetent with technology and DH working and stressed so can't ask him :(
Still, can try again tomorrow.
Night all!

LetThemEatCake · 09/01/2011 23:00

are you on FB pickled

you can never have too many bird motifs imo

NY your dd is adorable Smile

I so don't know who KK is

esher I missed your compliment before - thank you Blush Undeserved but thank you

actually I used to get called amazonian a lot and then when I studied Class Lit and discovered that the amazons cut their left breasts off so as to be able to fire arrows more accurately, I was like "a ha! breastless!! so that's it! I am an Amazon indeed!"

pickledsiblings · 09/01/2011 23:05

LTEC, I have managed to avoid FB thus far but may be forced to succumb.

OooohWhatIfItHurts · 09/01/2011 23:06

LTEC, what would you wear if you had enormous boobs? And were a midget? Always looking for ideas and always envious of those slinky one shouldered and racerback numbers you link to.

LetThemEatCake · 09/01/2011 23:08

gosh ooh I have no idea!!

it's never crossed my mind (for obvious reasons)

Tracey is petite and better-endowed than I, she's the person to ask - she always looks amazing.

DTI10 · 09/01/2011 23:11

mrsjuan - so sorry you and DD had horrible fright.

err, supertired I am, not supermodel.

Have a good week everyone.

redllamayellowllama · 09/01/2011 23:14

Pickled, bird motifs are my weakness, no such thing as too many bird motif items.

I cannot find a single picture of me without someone else in it. Am on FB, but that doesn't help much, eh?!

redllamayellowllama · 09/01/2011 23:16

Ooh, I could do with the answer to that question too - is a frustrating body shape, I find.

LetThemEatCake · 09/01/2011 23:22

red I have your email address but think your name would be very hard to find on FB. Please feel free to find me though. Profile pic in bed being mauled by 3dc

lots of good taste on this thread - when it comes to clothes. Less so when it comes to looking in mirror. too modest, beautiful people!!

redllamayellowllama · 09/01/2011 23:36

Done and done. Gorgeous profile pic.

To bed and anticipating feeling v achy tomorrow after first attempt at level 2 of shredding tonight. Nobody thought to warn me about plank jacks then...

Thanks to Tracey (I think) for putting Nancy Mitford on my radar. Nearly finished 'The Blessing' and have loved it.

bunnymother · 09/01/2011 23:50

Ooh, would these Uniqlo skinny fit cargos work?

macmama · 09/01/2011 23:56

like them Bunny, I usually find Uniqlo quite a kind fit.
