Grin at DM link Tracey!

FritziGreenEyes · 08/12/2010 19:00

Ok here come my pre-Christmas resolutions:

(1) Stop comparing my complexion to Emma Watson's.

(2) Overcome laziness and start shredding.

Thanks for all the other tips too! I'm always doing tinted moisturizer, mascara and concealer but will add blusher and lipstick for tomorrow.

Was so busy preparing gingerbread dough so we can make tree decorations tomorrow that I forgot to light the eighth Hanukkah candle during DD'S dinner Blush. Having salad instead of latkes too... Maybe I should stick to one tradition in the future Grin.

FritziGreenEyes · 08/12/2010 19:03

dolcee Ouch!

abo Can you believe I cannnot get my eyebrows threaded here?! Have to wait until the next time I'm in the UK. Good excuse to plan another trip soon though!

notyummy · 08/12/2010 19:05

Hey Friti - maybe we can joined the spirited DD club?! How old is your daughter ? Mine was 4 in late July and one of the 2/3 youngest in her class, which I sometimes think doesn't help. I also have the working guilt thing as well - although that won't be an issue in a couple of months Hmm I would (predictably) recommend exercise/shredding. Also a touch of facial tanning cream as well - not a Cheryl Coyle maghogany - just enough to take the 'indoor' palor away.

FritziGreenEyes · 08/12/2010 19:16

notyummy DD was 4 last May, so only a bit older than your DD. She was on a playdate today. Apparently only best behaviour/no arguing and I know the Mum would be honest with me. Have you any plans yet re: work?

notyummy · 08/12/2010 19:33

Well, there is a chance I may get a job in London - but that would mean commuting from London to Lincolnshire 2/3 days a week. I think the alternative is to do some consultancy for a few months until DH knows where he is being posted to, and then applying for jobs in that area. In some ways I am keen to maintain my position in the civil service for the pension and flexible working it offers - but possibly not enough to commute to London....

FritziGreenEyes · 08/12/2010 19:41

Hmm, difficult decision notyummy...

mrsjuan · 08/12/2010 19:45

Crikey those coated trousers look shocking on her - good luck with them NY Grin
Think VB looks best of the rest but she is of course far too skinny wish i had her body

Geordie Not personally but my good friend had eyelash extensions a few weeks ago and they looked fantastic. She paid £25 in Manchester and they lasted nearly 2 weeks. A friend of hers apparently paid less somewhere else and they started falling out the next day. So definitely get some local recommendations.

Kudos to you for enduring that traffic jam! I would have been hysterical if I'd had DD in with me and bored out of my mind if I were on my own. And now no hot water Shock You deserve a treat - hope your parcels come soon.

Fritzi & NY- I'm sure your DD's being so 'spirited' is nothing to do with your working. I have several SAHM friends with difficult challenging-- children. My DD is only 18 months but is starting to test the boundaries and is constantly checking my reaction when she does something she knows she's not supposed to - biting me Blush and drinking the bath water are her most common misdemeanors. It's so hard to know the right way to do things isn't it?

FritziGreenEyes · 08/12/2010 21:43

OK - Have had 1 litre of water today (which is a lot as I always forget to drink water), face exfoliated, moisturized properly, Lancome bronzing stuff on and will go to bed soon. For tomorrow have prepared blusher and lipstick.

Zembo · 09/12/2010 06:05

bloss will be thinking of you lots today, you know we're all here for you. Also thank you for the lovely aprons and flannels.

Esher thanks for gilet feedback, I've ordered one to try along with the boots&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Black plasticy boots - will probably end up returning both. Still no snow boots!!! - hopefully today.

Looby and Abo DO NOT iron the red gap dress, I managed to destroy mine but happy to say managed to get hold of another one.

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 09/12/2010 06:50

I am sure you are all aware but brand alley clearance sale has started.

bloss will be thinking of you today.

OllieWollieWoo · 09/12/2010 06:57

Bloss - thinking about you all today x

mrsjuan · 09/12/2010 07:56

Bloss thinking of you and your beautiful daughter today

bunnymother · 09/12/2010 08:13

Thinking of you, lovely Bloss

Mumsnut · 09/12/2010 08:37

Thinking of you all here too, Bloss Sad.

carciofi · 09/12/2010 08:42

Blossoming, thinking of you and your first little girl today.

Geordie, that sounds awful!

LTEC, hope you are on the mend.

BT have messed up our move so we won't have a phone (don't care about that really) or broadband (eek) before we leave for Dublin. My Blackberry is rubbish so I won't be on again until after the 27th (when all the good sale stuff will be gone, I am sure). So have a very happy Christmas! Zembo, have a fab holiday.

hellsbelles · 09/12/2010 08:57

at work today but just wanted to send my thoughts to Bloss. Thinking of you and your beautiful girl.

Zembo · 09/12/2010 09:47

Thanks for codes Vin

The boot&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Black plastic boots have arrived and they're super comfy and look good (i think) - but worried they're a bit mutton (It's that blardy Liz Hurley that's got me thinking!) - what do you think wise ladies?

FritziGreenEyes · 09/12/2010 09:48

Bloss, have lit candles for you and your family too.
