Got there! Seems that pound signs are causing problems... Anyway, hope somebody can bag a bargain :)

AllBuggiedOut · 25/11/2010 23:07

Sorry for run of short posts - do you wise ladies think these would be any good with Janice?

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 23:13

the navy one yes? yes I think so!!

hf128219 · 25/11/2010 23:16

Not the stripey one.

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 23:20

god Hf I am so traumatised on your behalf. Really gross

hf128219 · 25/11/2010 23:24

It was really grim. It was like slow motion.

Shame about the dress - but just think by Boxing Day LRD's will be so last year!

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 23:26

it's true. Want gold now anyway Grin

I actually have plenty of partyish frocks. I just get over excited at the thought of all the parties. It's the birthday/ Xmas/ NY triple whammy. I've had a lifetime of "woo hoo!! December!!" Plus, of course, it's summer in my other life, so everyone is in full good time node

I do probably need to grow up a little. Grin

hf128219 · 25/11/2010 23:28

Now I am looking at party dresses on NAP. Like you I don't need any more! But it's nice to look and pretend.

I need damart vests and longjohns - god it's cold!!

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 23:31

yes I went into town last Thurs night to stock up on Uniqlo heat tech stuff. Bought absolutely nothing of that nature but had a great time dancing in the Topshop change rooms in pleather leggings Blush Grin

hf128219 · 25/11/2010 23:32

could be quite soignee

happilyeverafter · 25/11/2010 23:33

Never knowingly underdressed, dh asked me to come to his pool cup final, wearing tweed shorts, thermal vest, long merino cardi, falkes and black shoeboots. Farming country and other (rare) females in uggs/jeggings/fleece. Rather pissed. Ahh well.

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 23:36

I like the cut out but on the module it looks a bit like me nan's dressing gown

prefer this I think

nice work happily that's the spirit!

hf128219 · 25/11/2010 23:40

Happily You were pissed? Or they were?!

I spied that other one too. Too much fabric around dem collar bones. On one side obviously!

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 23:46

I tried this one on the other day and am seriously tempted by it. It did look quite good

hf128219 · 25/11/2010 23:48

I like that. There is too much of the bacofoil in some of the others I kind of like. You know what I mean?

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 23:51

I do know. It may the festive season but you don't want to be mistaken for the turkey.

hf128219 · 25/11/2010 23:51

I like this

LetThemEatCake · 25/11/2010 23:54

oh yes, that is marvellous. I am all about the sequins atm.

AllBuggiedOut · 25/11/2010 23:55

Yes, navy Janice, thanks. Saw Phase Eight rocher dress in the window the other day and it looked frump-a-rama.

Love the waif-like-ness (you know what I mean) of the pleated Halston. Gorgeous.

hf128219 · 25/11/2010 23:56

Have you decided what to wear to the nursery dance?

AllBuggiedOut · 26/11/2010 00:00

swoons

LetThemEatCake · 26/11/2010 00:01

Thanks ABO. Did you get the shoes? Only a few left it looked like

nursery dance, bah. Am leaning towards the one-shouldered Halstony one from last w'end although I hate to double up on outfits Angry but I did feel rather spectacular in it.

otherwise this other ebay dress is easy and not OTT.

or, you know, jeans. And a thick woolly jumper with a few lentils stuck around the cuffs.

LetThemEatCake · 26/11/2010 00:01

oh yes yes wow ABO!!

hf128219 · 26/11/2010 00:03

ABO Love it!

LTEC Haltonesque it is.

I like this dress

AllBuggiedOut · 26/11/2010 00:08

Ooh yes hf. Although cake I seem to remember you not being a fan of Anglomania?

Feeling spectacular has got to be the way forward :)
