Not so inspired but I do so hate being threadless.

Having heard raves about that hairdryer elsewhere I have just bought it (get in there fast Fritzi!). My current one is so slow it's a positive deterrent to washing my hair

zembo - take care. Salmon all round, with maybe tuna as well.

Vin love the pencil skirt. Can you remind me about the website plan?

carciofi · 20/11/2010 14:56

Nice one, Blossoming, where is the coat from?

Lovely dress, Choo.

I am baking and digging out things to sell on eBay. Need more Christmas money!

carciofi · 20/11/2010 14:59

Vin, yes, unfortunately he did.

Love the red dress and the shoes they show it with. I am not too keen on the Bertie shoes. I have high heel loafers from Bally, which I used to wear a lot for work.

Vin - I tried on the Halston...very sexy. I couldn't justify because of price and I already have my sequin number.

The issa one looks lovely but something slightly odd about the waist. I love the Paul & Joe and very tempted by that.

Also leopard...it's always in isn't it? I can't remember a time when it hasn't been.

hellsbelles · 20/11/2010 16:05

choo - you will look beautiful in that.

Wore Janice today for work, layered with black, long-sleeved-T and Belstaffs. The thought of A&W Janice flashmob made me smile again!

pickledsiblings · 20/11/2010 17:12

I succumbed and tried the Janice on today. It really is a lovely dress and v.v. flattering. In fact it would have been perfect if I was about half a foot taller Grin. Now if they made a petite version I would certainly snap it up. Even DS1 said it looked great. The size and colour of the stripes and the relaxed fall of the fabric all comes together very nicely. I love the way you lot are styling it too.

monkeysmama · 20/11/2010 17:47

Am I allowed to pop in and say Cakey Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspurs!

traceybath · 20/11/2010 17:50

Afternoon!

Had succesful shopping trip in terms of well behaved children and a few presents bought and then came home and ordered a few more.

Wore my gap coated skinnies today and lordy I love them - they are so flattering! DH thought I had lost weight but suspect it was the jeans.

Zembo - hope you're ok - thinking about you lots Smile

blossoming · 20/11/2010 18:09

monkeysmama, Gareth Bale, Welsh goal scorer!

vin, can't open nap on iPhone. What was your link?

Okay, re coat. As notyummy said earlier in the week, an M&S 10 isn't really a 10 is it? Never mind. So it's grey, with cashmere, straight to above knee, slightly double breasted but amazingly looks as good open as it does closed. My holy Grail. And looked great with skinnies, ankle boots, charcoal scarf and grey beret. With rouge coco ballet russe, a dark red lipstick. Will link tomorrow. Off to put on janice!

Just popping in knackered after ds2's 6th birthday party. A couple of horribly-behaved children made it rather hard work. But I'm v.pleased with the cake and have put a pic on the profile (it was made to specification btw if you're thinking the concept a little odd!

traceybath · 20/11/2010 18:46

Happy Birthday Romana's ds2 and fab cake! And again - fab arms Grin

Strictly is on and curry to be eaten shortly - yum yum.

Oh and tried on gap coated skinnies with grey silk leopard shirt (kookai) and the m&s autograph shoeboots - its going to be my xmas party outfit I think.

DD wore her silver hebes today - oh my - she loved them!

traceybath · 20/11/2010 18:47

Bloss - coat sounds fab!

MarshaBrady · 20/11/2010 19:24

Had a party in Kensington today. It was sooo nice, seriously could live that life with glee. Beautiful houses (envious!).

And had a little annoyance with dh who was a little reluctant to help (I should have done it earlier etc) then got there and four people helped me --> pram, parking, money, etc Felt so civilised! And was a bit weird as thought wth didn't dh help more? (we have made up now btw, maybe just need a break from one another)

Anyway, Roma love the cake, Zembo more hugs. Bonsoir hope the party is sparklingly gorgeous and stunning (sure it is) and big love to everyone else.

Zembo · 20/11/2010 19:36

Forgive me because I'm still only half present, but Tracey have you had your gap skinnies taken up already? I think could do with a couple of inches off so haven't worn mine yet.

Looby and others thanks for your all your advice and concern. I am feeling tired and do need more rest.

hellsbelles · 20/11/2010 19:39

zembo - glad you are resting it's so important that you do.

hellsbelles · 20/11/2010 19:39

Roma - what a cake! Wonderful. And Marsha - that does sound like the good life.

Where is LTEC?

traceybath · 20/11/2010 19:46

Marsha - party sounds nice. We often seem to go to ones like that through school and well - its a nice glimpse at a different life.

Zembo - haven't taken them up yet as need to wash first for possible shrinkage. Just tucked them under if you know what I mean.

Just watched strictly and seriously haven't laughed so much in ages.

Oh and am reading India Knight's new novel which is hilarious and tweeted her to that effect and she replied which has rather made my day Smile

hellsbelles · 20/11/2010 19:48

oh I might try that book then Tracey! Get you and your celeb hobnobbing Grin
