Yangy that is sweet. I often think of you and your super cute one as I marvel at ds2's chubbiness.

vinvinoveritas · 19/10/2010 17:22

yangy which one? link shows lots

Exciting about moving for work, I am getting quite bored of UK. I've never stayed put for so long before, but not much choice at the moment.

Everyone's pestering me about getting DS christened. I'm not sure, I have really mixed feelings because while I am not an atheist I am not very religious either and also I didn't get DD christened, so I feel this conflicting thing that if I get DS christened it will mean I did the wrong thing with DD.

But family obv don't understand anything so I am being harangued frequently for christening dates. Eek!

Janice - Janice - who on earth calls a super-slinky dress like that 'Janice'.

LTEC - supermum I am not - as am slouched on sofa mn'ing whilst cbeebies is on and I am contemplating bathtime.

Think will wear new kookai shirt on sat night with jeans and very high black suede shoeboots. Going here I think.

Or may wear grey jersey leopard print dress which I have worn the last two times I've been out with my new look pleather jacket. Blimey that jacket has had some wear. In fact was thining today would really like a lovely leather jacket for christmas but can't ever find one that fits as well as cheapo new look one.

traceybath · 19/10/2010 17:28

Yangy - it was this one. Lovely quality lace in the flesh.

Has anyone had shellac nails done and if so do you rate them?

Quite fancy getting some done for the festive period.

Hi, dh working from home so haven't read this thread but just wanted to let Rufus know that you need to put in the My-Wardrobe code in the code section as you are checking out.

Esher, yes, get the Mitzy bag, I have it and it is great.

Tracey, I am 7 weeks now. Just told my dad and he is thrilled!

Back tomorrow, bye.

Will be back on properly later after bath-time. Hideous afternoon with the dd's which will require some online shopping to reward self with (will elaborate later...)
Phase Eight - is there a code or are we all paying full price Shock

vinvinoveritas · 19/10/2010 17:31

LTEC you are a super mum in many ways and very nice and humorous which means I'm sure you're accessible and polite to everyone, but yes she really is a bit status-obsessed and seems to not be able to converse with anyone she perceives as lesser than her, if that makes sense

It's moments like those that make me happy to go back to work to avoid the social awkwardness of mummydom

Is anyone else a bit scared of ankle boots? I fear that may accentuate the cankles I have not shredded into shape inherited

Yeap yangy - well I think so. The manager in comptoir in bath had them - I was admiring her lovely manicure and she said they're shellac and she gets them done every 3 weeks.

May have to go and see how much they are to get done - I know its a small salon she goes too so am guessing they won't be too much.

Dolcee - spill about wedding ring? Did you do a Heather Mills and chuck it out of a window during an argument Wink

traceybath · 19/10/2010 17:36

Vino - my dc's are singing along Grin

Oh I still can't fin it yangy, never mind I have too many work dresses..but crucially none of them fit (too big and too small) so I can justify new ones..hmm (I excel at justifying purchases)

traceybath · 19/10/2010 17:39

I was guessing around £30 which isn't too bad for a month is it?

vinvinoveritas · 19/10/2010 17:43

yangy I've been asked 'why are you going back when a year isn't up yet!?' and other such questions. Work tried to reduce my hours to part time but I said no, for all sorts of reasons (need to finish training, lack of income, blabla) but they have been a bit funny about it. P is acting weird about me working (he doesn't want me to work, says I should jump at the chance to stay at home)I feel like I can't win on the home front or the work front! I will give up, leave the country and sit in my cabana sipping mojitos while ordering jimmy choos online forevermore..

What a shocking thread title. I am out of here.

I think I've pondered this before but can't remember:

Ash sizing- if I'm a 38.5, do I buy a 38..or a 39?

PlumSykes · 19/10/2010 18:12

Bunny, these airbeds look good, am thinking of getting one for camping next yr.

LetThemEatCake · 19/10/2010 18:35

bunny we have an airbed, they are very good and comfy

Vino I am realistically a 42 but 41 Ash is fine for me..

just a note to anyone thinking about the drapey navy (I agree, it shoudl not be called Janice!!) - this is how good a dress it is: I saw the sales asst in it and had to try. I came out of the change room and 2 other women in the change rooms immediately asked to try it too.

Good dress, no?

esher I did not have a code.

ahhhh, new babies. People keep asking me when I am going to have another. No one believes me when I say not.

LetThemEatCake · 19/10/2010 18:46

gosh, just caught up on old thread. Lovely purple blouse. Fab colour. Love all these jewel tones.

All the outfits sound great. ABO I have that VM top it's great, so useful and flattering. Today I wore black & grey stripe mini short dress with black tights, short black boots, star print scarf and biker jacket.

How is ds OWW?
Sorry about disturbed night Fritzi. And about no heating NY

dexter73 · 19/10/2010 19:07
