Bunny, surely your babies cant be nearly due already?!? That has flown by!!

OWW love the M&S lace dress link

blossoming · 21/10/2010 16:12

I love property porn! And 25 beautiful homes magazine and Location...(Hate Grand Designs)!!

Excited for you for tomorrow bunny.

How you doing today carciofi?

dolcee, I meant Christmas. I'm thinking a ride on thingy maybe. Or, living in a split level (5 in all) house, maybe not!!
Talking of Links, I might get one of their rings from Dh.

bunnymother · 21/10/2010 16:53

Tracey - no, we will stay where we are. The 2nd bedroom is actually bigger than ours, and roomy enough for all 3 little ones. I can't face moving and I love our location so will stay for the next few years (I hope!), but will obv consider how we are travelling, space wise, each time we renew our lease.

I have to say, the house was amazing - really and truly swoon worthy! Many original features, solid construction and so much room - someone will, hopefully, be very happy living there. I know I would be!

traceybath · 21/10/2010 17:09

I love Kevin McCloud Blush

Bunny - oh thats good that you won't need to move. Will you go back to Australia at some point?

monkeysmama · 21/10/2010 17:12

I love Kevin too Blush.

I've got a cold so am wrapped up in bed with dd eating the chocolates we bought for Halloween trick or treaters and watching cbeebies Grin.

OllieWollieWoo · 21/10/2010 17:35

Ha Ha! DH just rang to say he is being forced to do a Flash Mob dance thingy to Black Eyed Peas I Gotta Feeling at the company party next month - all the management team have to do it and they are having special flash mob dance lessons beforehand! I'm laughing so hard as poor DH will hate every second - he hates it when management trys to be cool and has to put on skits etc! He loves a good dance tho (can't keep him off the dance floor at weddings etc)so he may enjoy himself!

Gorgeous lace dress Tracey. I'm like Hells, not a big fan of lace but that would make me think twice!

notyummy · 21/10/2010 18:04

Am giggling at the thought of the management flash mob dance. It just sounds like a horrendously uncomfortable comedy sketch to me!

Romanarama · 21/10/2010 18:11

rofl @ vin and the boots Grin

I've never heard of Kevin McCloud, am I deeply uncool?

PlumSykes · 21/10/2010 18:17

Bloss, inspired by all the craft chat,I went to Hobbycraft today, and saw lots of 'ideas cards' that they have dotted about, as inspiration for projects. Some look really pretty, other less so. Website might be worth a look though.

blossoming · 21/10/2010 18:38

Nice bags plum. I've just realised I've got an apple tree weighed down with fruit I don't use. And hundreds of Bonne Maman jars. There must be something I can make with them!

traceybath · 21/10/2010 18:43

Apple chutney Bloss.

bunnymother · 21/10/2010 18:47

OWW - ha ha, your poor DH!! He must be squirming at the thought. My DH would prob be sick that day just to avoid it.

Tracey - eventually we will go back, but no plans as to when. Prob not for at least another few years. Despite being a sun lover he much prefers London to Sydney. Hmm

felix - I know, the time has whizzed by! But then also dragging (am v uncomfy - have SPD which doesn't help). But at the end of it I get 2 beautiful babies!

blossoming · 21/10/2010 19:35

Doling out Calpol to dc1 tonight. Sore throat and general fatigue I think. So tracey, have printed out recipes for Classic Apple Chutney; and, as my friend gave me a bag of pears the other week, Pear and dried apricot chutney. Looks like I may be stuck indoors tomorrow. Good old Good Food website.

Feet up bunny!

My dh would just die of embarrassment ollie. You could practice together?!

PlumSykes · 21/10/2010 20:00

Oh Bloss, I think I have died and gone to craft heaven.

PlumSykes · 21/10/2010 20:02

OWW, love that lace M&S dress . That kind of pinky nude shade looks either hideous, or good on me, depending on shade. Shall have a butchers, I think. Was sent code for 10% off M&S today, so may as well add it to my order, no?

blossoming · 21/10/2010 20:32

plum, there are lovely ideas, of which I intend to steal for my stall, in Ideal Home's Christmas magazine I bought today. I will make raspberry cordial, I may make soap!!

OllieWollieWoo · 21/10/2010 20:36

OOoh - I'm todays fashion fairy! Yey!
Plum - can I be cheeky - is the M&S code just for you (ie single use) or a general one? My basket is brimming and I'm trying to find a discount to justify the postage over to Holland!!!!

OP posts:
OllieWollieWoo · 21/10/2010 20:39

It gets even funnier - turns out that DH's flash mob dance will only consist of 10 people! Thats not a flash mob - thats just a few people embarrassing themselves! DH just said he will die of shame - then flounced out of the room - bless him! Trying to be supportive but seriously - I want video footage!

OP posts:
blossoming · 21/10/2010 21:08

ollie, my discount was just for accessories. I'll check the email again.

VerityBrulee · 21/10/2010 21:17

How did this thread accumulate nearly 400 posts in 2 days Shock Very avid! Love the title OWW. Your poor dh!

Bloss poor you this morning, I hate it when they frighten you like that, gives me the shivers thinking about it. LOVE the sound of your crafts stall, maybe we'll have a meet up at your fair and stock up on pressies. I love crafty things too, it's that time of year, dark evenings make me feel like curling up by the fire and knitting. The last knitting project I did was a long, skinny scarf in a cable patern in cashmere. The cables devoured yarn so cost a fortune, and I started it last halloween and didn't finish until Easter. Pre dc I would have done it in a month.

Sorry for everyone affected by yesterdays cuts. It's no consolation, but the Irish economy is in even worse shape than yours, our budget is coming in early December and it won't be pretty. Dh's job is hanging by a thread but I'm not allowing myself to think about it. I gave up reading the newspaper ages ago, and rarely listen to the radio anymore as it was making me feel so anxious. Probably very selfish of me but I find living in a bubble is better for my mental well-being, IYKWIM.

Vins boots story had me laughing so much I had to read it out to ds1 as I cooked dinner and skimmed thread. I can so see myself doing that.

Tracey I'm relieved your not going for the barn, the thought of you in a caravan for the duration was really upsetting me Smile

Bunny I can't believe the babies are nearly due, how exciting!

hells hope the day in bed has done the trick and you're back on form tomorrow.

So, the long awaited week in Paris is beginning on Sunday. I was a bit worried by the strikes, but determined to get there even if we have to swim. Any W&A recommendations?

PlumSykes · 21/10/2010 21:40

Oh, OWW, I'm sorry, the code was one use only. I'll email MIL though, she's forever buying from M&S, and won't know how to use the code.

blossoming · 21/10/2010 21:43

Left bank verity. I forget the ages of your dcs, but the paying park in jardin du Luxembourg caters for different ages. Also Eiffel Tower, bateau bus on the Seine, walking about.. For you there's Le Bonmarche department store and a park outside for your dcs. Do you want me to send you my guide books? Message me your address if so.

VerityBrulee · 21/10/2010 21:50

Thanks a mil bloss have dogeared guidebooks! Apartment is between the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides so planning to do most things on foot. Also looking forward to spending after saving for so long Smile

blossoming · 21/10/2010 21:55

We had such a lovely time there at Easter verity. I'd go back every year! I think I love it because I spent so much time there as a student. The whole black polo neck, gauloise shebang!!

OllieWollieWoo · 21/10/2010 22:04

Plum - please don't put yourself out on my account esp as its a personal code offer! Love the Martha Stewart cushions btw!
On a crafty note, boys collected leaves in the park today so may well end up doing this with them tomorrow (its been on my favourites for a while and I'd forgotten til I saw your link!) here

Night all!
