hells padded jacket definitely acceptable! I really like them Blush

DolceeBanana · 21/10/2010 14:23

Oh and ny ...shhh but we were 'lined up' for Location....had crew out to film us 'en famille', because I was so desperate at the beginning of the year...I'd applied online, kind of tongue in cheek thinking it would never happen and a few days later got a call from a researcher who interviewed us endlessly, then we were filmed by the production co and lined up...We didn't get through because the property search at this point (as now really) yielded vitually nothing, and the couiple who they'd already filmed and were set to go had a similar situation so they didn't want too similar situations. They've shown the episode now...Bradford on Avon and Bristol. We was robbed Grin

DH was a bit shocked when I told him we might be on the telly. But of course he played along with it all - oh, just for my sake Wink We're too fussy probably so Phil and Kirst would have hated us.

AllBuggiedOut · 21/10/2010 14:23

ROFL at vin and the boots!

blossoming · 21/10/2010 14:26

Thanks for concern re dd. I made spaghetti in tomato sauce for her lunch (tasted like the canned stuff!) which she wolfed down plus a large petit filou. She then slept for 2 hours (her normal daily nap) and has just finished her bottle. Worryingly good in fact!! We've been having feeding nightmares recently too.

DolceeBanana · 21/10/2010 14:26

Vin - you are so funny! Grin Why are you being so covert about the new shoes tho?

Vin - are you Bristol way?

DolceeBanana · 21/10/2010 14:27

And I now never watch Location, Location of course

roary · 21/10/2010 14:30

bloss it is this top. I have pink. Hells wondering if any good winter colours. I am going to do colours with my friends as discussed but am guessing am a winter because jewel tones really work on me.

Cold ladies: you need hanro wool/silk cami as rec by mamaroary who has worn camisoles daily since birth. Or since she moved from miami to northern canada!! I just got mine and it is sooooo cozy.

PlumSykes · 21/10/2010 14:31

Vin, you are hilarious, and absolutely my hero. Does it really matter if he knows what you have bought, though?

blossoming · 21/10/2010 14:33

vin, I don't know what to say..!!

dolcee, what are you buying your dd for C?

vinvinoveritas · 21/10/2010 14:39

Grin well it's not like it's a joint account (and I'm the earner at present anyway!) so it shouldn't matter but he's very judgey and I didn't need a lecture on non-essential purchases!
Dolcee I'm London but went to school in Bristol for a couple of years

roary I LOVE that top!

vinvinoveritas · 21/10/2010 14:43

Oh, and I'm pleased to announce I have turned DS into Gok Wan- I got him some shoes and he loves them, he keeps laughing at the lion and stroking them!

DolceeBanana · 21/10/2010 14:45

vin - go girl!

Bloss - do you mean Christmas or Christening?
I have two DDs, and not sure about Christmas yet...possibly playmobil for dd1 (3), really not sure for baby...what about you?

For Christening was going to buy the smallest silver Links bracelet which she can have when she is older...a keepsake

Right off for school run then a small food shop (again), see you later!

traceybath · 21/10/2010 14:50

Hells - this is the aigle coat I saw in magazine - it looked very nice.

Vin - you are hilarious Grin

traceybath · 21/10/2010 14:51

OWW - that lace dress is lovely.

LTEC - ok its £££ but In | Latest Designer FashionLHN--r15|c3--339356 lovely

hellsbelles · 21/10/2010 15:07

the aigle looks great (though out of stock Sad - Bloss the zara looks great as well. I need to get to that shop in rl!

Vin you made me laugh out loud with your loo antics!

OWW - the autograph lace dress is a fab find - really pretty. But oh my goodness...tracey that is divine. I'm not 100% on lace but that could convert me (if it was on sale on the outnet for a 70% discount Wink).

bunnymother · 21/10/2010 15:18

Oh Bloss - I empathise! DD did the same thing and I was really upset for the entire day (in tears just after it happened). Not sure I will ever forget the thud and then screaming. Naturally I bought DD some new clothes from Zara that afternoon, to help calm me down Smile

Oh Vin, I love it! How funny!

Tracey - Marchesa lace dress is perfect - I love it!

Dolce - re TV. DD watches it every day - The Wiggles and Sesame Street. She loves it, although wanders off v quickly. DH wishes she watched less TV, but I note that on his watch, he goes straight for the remote Hmm

bunnymother · 21/10/2010 15:19

OWW - wow, that Autograph lace dress looks beautiful too. And just a smidgen cheaper than Marchesa...

bunnymother · 21/10/2010 15:21

Last post... nice handyman here. Talking about amazing house down the road, would I like to go see inside as he is going there next? BTW its going on the market for approx £100m. So just a smidgen nicer than our 2 bedroom basement flat, I guess. SO excited!!! Property porn, property porn!

carciofi · 21/10/2010 15:24

Blossoming, glad BabyBloss is ok.

Dolcee, I was allowed watch TV as much as I wanted and now rarely watch it and am an avid reader. I let DD watch TV or DVDs whenver she wants, really. My friend was on Location, I don't think she came across very well as they took things she said out of context.

Marsha, I love the Acne dress.

Bunny, wow, when are your babies due?

hellsbelles · 21/10/2010 15:29

bunny! Maybe with a little belt tightening it could be yours! £100m! What the hell is it like? It must have diamond encrusted floors.

bunnymother · 21/10/2010 15:33

Hells - well, its a massive house and on a big piece of land next to Holland Park. Although, apparently it needs much renovation work, so maybe we shouldn't think of buying it? Wink

Carciofi - babies are due in December, but being ID twins, have to arrive in November but exact date TBD. Hopefully I will know tomorrow...

hellsbelles · 21/10/2010 15:38

wow - you would have hoped that it would be fully renovated for that. Well at least you will be able to put your own stamp on it Wink

traceybath · 21/10/2010 15:44

Hells - did you see any houses you were tempted by when you were looking?

Bunny - London prices just scare me! Will you move to somewhere bigger when babies are here?

hellsbelles · 21/10/2010 16:04

Tracey - nothing was quite right. It's so frustrating. We will probably end up extending our tiny kitchen (into the useless side return in our already tiny garden).

And I have to say - it will be a lot cheaper. The costs involved with the move were quite terrifying.

hellsbelles · 21/10/2010 16:07

roary - what's the sizing like on the top?
