Lovely comfortable day dress

I would like a really soft, comfortable dress that I could wear fairly smartly to work, or that would also be nice to just sling on with boots for weekends. I'd like it to be knee length or just over (and am a short arse) and have a scoop or v neck that is okay for norks.

Please help.

Preferably plain rather than patterned. Maybe grey? Or navy?

this maybe too smart? I like the colour.

Im still raving about the Boden jersey tea dress. Its very flatterig and in navy and grey.

Kittya - I've been looking at that dress too, is it true to size? Is it very clingy or does it "skim" nicely over hips etc??

squix · 15/09/2010 09:44

The Hobbs one is the Rodin - bottom right on the first page of casual dresses.

It's not too clingy at all, I got the blue one and I wear it withvlots of beads. You can always send it back.

Thanks Squix.

Ooh that purple GP one is yummy - not at all the kind of thing I'm wanting but I may go and have a look at it anyway. The colour is VERY me!

Now we are mentioning purple I happened to be in LK Bennett the other day (just looking, I can stop any time) and saw this which I thought very nice and flattering. The material is quite thick which means it holds you in a bit. £££ though Sad.

Very pounds! And not so fond of that one, sorry. But thank you anyway.
