What did you wear today, and how much did it cost?!

I am fascinated by other peoples clothes so I love the threads where everyone goes into detail of what they wore. I would also like everyone to tot up the cost, as I am really nosey and also I still think about that Daily Mail article that the average woman has £250 of clothes on her back.

Blue straight leg jeans-£40, River Island
white vest £4-Asos
Green tropical fruit sandals-£1-Primark
Grey Waterfall cardi-£60-Whistles

So £105, pretty good I think. This does not include accessories, as I my sunnies and bag would push me over the £250 mark.

Maxi dress - between £15 and £20 from shop in Islington

Cardigan - £6 from Asda

Pants - part of 5 for £12 at La Senza (might have been when they still did 5 for £10 actually)

No bra due to minimal norks

No shoes due to not leaving house

Necklace £10 from ebay

Breastfeeding vest - £7.50 H&M
White Stuff dress - £35
Kookai trousers - gawd, they're ancient ... £40?
M&S knickers - not much.
Incredibly frumpy comfort Clarks shoes - £40

Work uniform. Cost about £20? Shoes were from Clarks for £55.

I think the vast majority of us are rather under the £250 mark. Good. I knew the DM was talking its usual stinking pile of horse crap.

However, in winter I guess it will be a different story....

As you will note although these items added ££££ to the look they didn't exactly enhance the look!

You need to wear more clothes in winter so is likely to cost more then I suppose. Am seriously at some people's although maybe it is just
