I haven't but most ( have not checked everything) is in stock now.

I phoned and complained about no review button and they said by end of week.

I have phoned again tonight as they have refunded one preview item- separate order, where I asked for an exchange- by phone. The person who took the exhange details has not, evidently, passed that info on to the warehouse, so they have refunded entire amount to my card.

The apologised and said they will sort.

I have also returned 6 items and want 4 in exchange- mind boggles over all of that plus the 20% discount.

I'm 5'5'', a boden 10 top half and 8 bottom half, 32F norks

casual dress fitted in a 10 but didnt suit. better for less curvy girl i think

ditto milano coat

textured knot front top was far too low on neck, i would need to wear a cami under

uptown top a very flattering fit but needed to go up a size for norks. not clingy on mummy tummy and a good length

HTH

purplepeony · 03/08/2010 22:51

I found the textured knot top fine- doesn't show too much but I am only a 32C.
Uptown Top is nice- got into an 8 and decided a 10 would be too baggy.

I getting nervous about my exchanges now. I did write it all down for them.

tulpe · 03/08/2010 23:51

katy1katy - I am an 8-10 in Boden womenswear and "large" in Johnnie B, and needed a 30L in their skinny jeans. They are cut very much like Top Shop.

Hmmmm - having read the comments on here I may give the Uptown Top a go.....just hesitating between magenta and peacock. Anyone got either colour - are they fairly zingy or faded and washed out??

sorky · 04/08/2010 11:49

I've ordered

Breton dress in purple
Outgoing top in Peacock
Drapey cardigan in Aubergine
Copenhagen Tunic in blue marbles

Any opinions on these items?

I like to wait until the reviews are up so I can check the sizing, but I'm more worried about their stock levels if I wait for the reviews.

I've also ordered the Duffle coat for Dd2 in green. Has anyone else bought this? (it's the longer duffle coat)

Sherbert37 · 04/08/2010 11:53

Ordered the weekender tunic and I really like it. Sent back the velvet blazer in damson as it was thin and shapeless.

horridhobo · 04/08/2010 12:45

What colour way did you get weekender tunic in, Sherbert?

SerendipityAlways · 04/08/2010 13:50

Horrodhobo - I have the uptown top in the peacock, really good colour, good quality jersey also, very pleased with it

Sorky - I have the drapey cardi in the blue stripes, it will be a very useful top for Autumn wear I think, nice quality fabric and sized correctly unlike other Boden stuff I've had to return!) I was suprised by how much I liked it actually!

Oumasrusks · 04/08/2010 14:11

I've just placed an order for the Uptown top in peacock. I'm just hoping that the neckline won't be too low on me.

I also ordered the weekender tunic in chambray.

rumpledwriter · 04/08/2010 14:11

I got the uptown top in magenta, and the color is lovely. Alas, it's going back--I'm on the busty side (large of nork as some folks say), and there's just too much material right where I already have a lot of chest. I'm not sure that going up a size will help.

I ordered 3 tops and 4 bottoms, and I think all the tops are going back. The knot front fit the best of the three, but I'm not crazy about 3/4 length sleeves.

I also ordered the printed skirt that someone didn't like. I got the red flowered one, and it's quite nice--thick cotton and a decently-fitting cut. I think it will be good for the fall with boots. I also got the black cord contrast stitch skirt, and I'm still pondering it. On the one hand, it's not very exciting; on the other, I've wanted a black cord skirt and this one fits nicely. I think I'm going to see if I can find an alternative in a store and if not, keep it.

Damson cord straight legs are going back, I think. Lovely color but a bit too clingy for my 40s body. Also, it looks like J. Crew whose cords fit me better may have a similar color.

sorky · 04/08/2010 14:14

I'm baffled by the A/W coat with 3/4 length sleeves

Why would anyone buy a coat for cold weather without full sleeves....maybe I'm getting old!

bodeniiiiites · 04/08/2010 16:47

sorky it will be for those "in between days""Bodens always going on about.I think you must only get them in the South East of England. Here is Scotland in Winter it`s Baltic or Baltic

Northernlurker · 04/08/2010 19:10

Ok my surprise order from dh is here and I am now the owner of a drapey top in damson and a pewter embellished tee. I'm actually really pleased with both - the tee in particular is better than it looks BUT I do think it's expensive for what it is. both working nicely round the bust so any size 22 ladies with substantial norkage - take heart!

Sherbert37 · 04/08/2010 20:46

Horridhobo - Got the weekender tunic in 'multi folk floral', the mole / dark pink pattern. It is lively without being too ott. Sleeves need to be turned back as they are a bit short, but I do have very long arms.

florenceuk · 04/08/2010 21:51

OK have two essential tees (which seem fine to me, stretchy material not too tight round middle) and grey herringbone boyfriend blazer which does seem, well, big, although I want to fit jumpers underneath. As usually size 10 is fine, wonder if it is meant to be that way. Has anybody sized down and thought it was OK?

kittya · 04/08/2010 23:22

I wanted the grey one!! Ive ordered the navy but I hope its not too officey.

SerendipityAlways · 05/08/2010 10:29

Copenhagen tunic top - what a disappointment!! Thin faded fabric, which will crease like the dickens (after just a 10 minute wear of trying it on, its larady fully creased on the arms and looks like it needs an iron!!) Soooo not worth its full price of £65!! Once again, the sizing is skew-ways, I bought a 10 and while it fits perfectly on the bust its a disaster on the hips - I know the 12 will swamp me on the bust so thats a no-no. I got 4 other A/W tops from Boden all size 10 and they are fitting me fine, maybe its just the tunics that are inconsistent! I also wonder about the seams on the top, the finish on them is quite poor. This top would be far too light to wear in cold weather - and while I have reasonably good pins I would not dream of wearing this thin top with opaques - This is going back Johnnie!!!

On the plus side I managed to get the corsica kaftan in the clearance sale at the bargain price of £19 so all is not lost!

kittya · 05/08/2010 11:46

you will have to wear that with leggings then!!

I dont get this Boden fascination with tunics. Maybe I am missing out.

Have you noticed the dresses? they all look like last Autumns and they five before that.

Has anyone had a successful exchange and, when are the bloody reviews coming on?

I am still waiting for my exchange preview order!

I am waiting for the Henley top in blue, the cord straight legs in grey, a rosette cardi - ordered 2 colours to choose- and a purple wool mini skirt.

I also ordered the "fun" tank top but it's out of stock until October.

Anyone any feedback on the above?
