Collected my (very large box) order this am from the Post Office - its now in the boot of my car, I'm at work!! Dying to have a wee fashion show later on and see what its like.

iwilldothis · 30/07/2010 11:25

My parcel arrived this morning. Love my denim mini, definitely keeping. 2 long sleeve t-shirts to be decided about. The casual dress in mouse has the potential to be lovely, but was swimming on me so will have to exchange for a different size...might go for a bolder colour like the green one instead of the boring mouse brown. Dunno. Anyone else get the casual dress? If so, did you get it in green and what's the colour like?

SweetCecilyisasecretcrackwhore · 30/07/2010 11:38

The chunky brown boots have just arrived and am pleased with the fit round the calves. Always a real drama for me finding boots as Im fussy about gaping.
Anyway they are a perfect fit but a bit of wearing in will be a must!
I really like the shape - very riding boot but the chunky sole and heel are not too chunky.

Tootiredforgodtyping · 30/07/2010 11:45

Copenhagen tunic, too short ( i'm 5'8), and does not fit over my F cup boobs and comes up small else where
printed cord dress, didn't like it in purple though so goin to order it in green marbles - great cut though

upbeat wool mini - not special enough - might get it the sale
bootcut wool trousers - again not special enough

kittya · 30/07/2010 12:17

Im off today and was going to collect my parcel from the post office. I can hardly be bothered, which is saying something. And I have about seven things to send back from the sale, Im generally not happy and going off Boden pretty quickly.

PDR · 30/07/2010 12:19

Just got mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am loving the Cosmopolitan Tee in all the various colourways I ordered! Plus it's quite roomy so hopefully will do as maternity wear as currently pg.

Also love the boys fleece lined anorack in grey super star! Looks so cosy and warm and hood is elasticated so will stay on head!

purplepeony · 30/07/2010 13:10

Got the paper catalogue today- you can see the colours better but the models- ugggggh.
The are standing sideways, sitting down, anything but face on so you can actually see the clothes.

I agree with Lincolnparkafterdark - the Copenhagan material is soooo thin - surely this can't be for Autumn / Winter?? But I do like the cut of it - the way it's nice and neat just under the boobs - I suppose that's empire line?? - I think it's flattering.

Agree with the knee high boots and tunic look as a DH favourite. Actually I found the ... bleuughh.. "Fun" tunic here is really lovely with said boots and black leggings - v.nice indeed.

Am sending back the chocolate favourite mini (shapeless and too washed out ), the stitch-detail denim skirt (just a bit blah really, nothing exciting about it) and the printed velvet mini in brown (v.dull in real life).

Am undecided about the ... eeek there it is again... "fun" skirt with the big fuck off pink flower on the front of it - I quite like it but have no doubt DH will laugh at it.

kittya · 30/07/2010 14:16

Righty, here is what is going back. The cropped cardigan even with the reduction and getting it at £70, I dont think so. The colour (pine) is lovely but the quality and fit is just nasty. Im really annoyed because I get one every season and wear them to death. It barely fastens over my (generous) boobs and the sleeves just make me look like Ive shrunk it already. It would look better on my 8 year old niece. The scalloped top - no good if you have boobs and very flimsy.

Keeping the leather plimsolls in olive as I know I will get loads of wear out of them and the pull ons because you cant go wrong with their pj bottoms.

I would swop the two things for something else but I dont see anything that will suit my body shape. I wouldve liked a dress I could just pull on but they are all round necked.

I cant wait to write a review on this sad order!!

AlaskaNebraska · 30/07/2010 14:17

cosmo tee is vair nice

tulpe · 30/07/2010 14:59

iwilldothis - I have ordered the casual dress in green so will report back when it arrives.

Am trying to persuade DH to buy me the leather blazer in brown for Christmas......yes, yes I know it's only July but he hates having to think up gift ideas for himself and I have sold it to him on the basis of saving 20% if he orders it as part of an exchange for things I am sending back now (those things being items I haven't even received yet but am convinced I will dislike already)........and hopefully I can persuade him that it doesn't have to wait until Christmas to be worn

TraceyBath - which colour did you order the Breton tunic in? I am quite taken with the Berry but am concerned it will be a vile cheap shade of pink

purplepeony · 30/07/2010 15:21

I just know that once I have returned almost all of my £500 order I will see things I want- and lose the 20% off.

Anyone got any strong feelings on the:
Spangly cardi
Rosette cardi
Pleated scoop neck top

anyone got any of these?

So far I am keeping the cotton knot front top and the other knot front top in tencyl, and the velvet pea coat. (think)

OP posts:
kittya · 30/07/2010 17:48

If that pleated scoop neck top is the one that I got, in silk, its not worth it. I got the grey and it made me look very top heavy. Im sending it back with the cashmere cardigan.

Has anyone received anything that will suit some one with a cleavage??

traceybath · 30/07/2010 18:01

Purple - the spangly cardigan in silver grey is very nice indeed. Well I like it anyway

Tulpe - I got the breton in grey but the 6 was very shapeless. With your new and improved figure - I just think it won't showcase it to your best advantage.

Kittya - oh no re. the cashmere cardigan - I've got the winter white on order and was hoping it would be nice.

NomDePlume · 30/07/2010 18:07

sorry to barge in but I am being ignored on my thread. Anyone got a better discount code than 11% off ?

tulpe · 30/07/2010 18:10

TB thanks for feedback on breton dress. I don't mind the skirt section being a little a-line but would prefer it to be fitted from bust to hip. Funny, I've spent 10 years lookig for skimming/non-cling dresses......now I want one I cant find one!

dragonbear · 30/07/2010 18:15

kittya- have just read your comments on the other thread about dreading the postage on the sale items you are returning - can you use the free returns label you had with the new catalogue items to return the sale items -if they are heavier than the new items you are returning it may be cheaper for you?

kittya · 30/07/2010 18:19

can I put them all together do you think?

hattymattie · 30/07/2010 18:20

NomdePlume - I think they've found a way to block code sharing - I had LN9U 15% normally valid until 9th December but as it was shared is coming up invalid. They'll be getting fewer orders from me now. By the way couldn't find your thread!

traceybath · 30/07/2010 18:27

LNAM still seems to work and thats 15% off.

kittya · 30/07/2010 18:28

Whilst we are talking about new orders I know this sounds trivial but, is anyone sick of the dust bags they keep sending? Im getting them for everything Im ordering and have about twenty!! you can have too much of a good thing. They are actually getting on my nerves and seem a waste.

NomDePlume · 30/07/2010 18:29

Thank you all

My thread is in chat.

dragonbear · 30/07/2010 18:31

kittya- yes i have put them together before - no problem - but i have spare label if some way of getting it to you

NomDePlume · 30/07/2010 19:03

anyone got any of the following....

The cord Casual dress (in mouse) ?

The Notting Hill dress (in navy pop spot) ?

Or the Copenhagen tunic (Pewter scattered berry) ?

Like 'em, hate 'em ? Good quality, bad quality ?

aarghhelp · 30/07/2010 19:13

Have got leggings - pleased with them, esp the brown ones. The navy have a bit more of a purplish tine than the last season's. I have tried buying cheaper leggings but they didn't fit, esp gaping at the waist.
