Aye, shocking stuff Polter . UK experts have shredded their latest plot to kill vaping and it's on the agenda at FCTCCOP7 in Dehli this week. However they know their shite will be strongly attacked by at least some delegates so they've issued a decree that the subject NOT be discussed in great detail. Doubt we'll hear much though, press and public no doubt banned again from attending.

Tempted to get a triton mini next
Love my nauti but the threads go crap so quickly from unscrewing to fill

I'm definitely leaning towards one. Already use the triton mini Clapton coils - so good!
The threads get harder to screw in, my first one has given up completely and I've had to get another

Oh and my dropping nic level is going ok
At home I use 10mg and at work when I can only use it every 2-3hrs I'm using 18mg
And a mix inbetween as I dump one on top of the other

Nice to see some of you lovely people who commented on my threads about smoking/vaping here.

So started vaping yesterday for the first time. No cigarettes since. Feeling it a bit this morning though - woke up feeling like I really needed a nicotine hit and have had that anxious feeling since. Commuting to work just now so will need to wait until I can vape again!

Oh I was wondering about that! Whether it would get easier. It was bloody bliss last night not having to go outside for a fag!

Hmmm. That's a thought about a higher dose for the morning. My starter kit is pretty basic, the guy did show me other ones where I can adjust it for a higher hit so that's also something to consider further along.

In the meantime might get a higher nicotine juice. Will see how I go.

Are some juices easier to vape?? I tried my DH's who is on a different juice and it seemed much easier to draw from. Same make of vape and juice and same nicotine strength. I got several different juices to try and just loaded a couple of new ones up in new vaporisers and they are also easier to vape.

Is that normal?

Not had an issue, hate the smell of real cigarettes but something is itching to pop to the shop. I really don't want too!

Up until my very crazy hour :) I've found it fairly easy. When I first started and didn't treat it like a "dummy" lol i did struggle but lots of googling and was doing great

Alcohol which always caused me to grab a fag from anyone hasn't been an issue at all since I got the technique

I'm using a Ciro, which I know isn't great but it has been working for me, I have changed the battery this evening (thank goodness I had a spare!) and I feel fine again so I think I just wasn't getting enough, I did go to a vape shop today and ladies were amazing! Gave me some different canisters but may go back and get a better battery/machine

The smell is just vile of a normal cigarette for me now and ive not been doing it for long at all.

I haven't had a fag since starting to vape a week ago thanks to some lovely MNers who convinced me to give it a go!

Don't get me wrong it's crossed my mind but I've just vaped through it as already suggested!

I too love not stinking of fags. That was the main reason I switched and what I think of most about ditching the fags.

My only issue I've noticed is that if I'm not occupied with something else I just want to eat all the time!! I've lost a lot of weight this year and I really do NOT want to put it all back on!

sparklyshite You'll be pleased to know recent credible research done by amongst others Linda Bauld of Sterling uni has shown vaping seems to curb any weight gain normally found in quitters

sparkly you are about the same as me on the vaping journey, apart from a wobble yesterday (caused by the battery) I've found it really easy :)

The weight gain with patches was hideous for me as was my temper developed a very short fuse. I've not found myself eating my way through biscuits like I ever did on previous attempts and don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

I walked past someone who had been smoking today, and made the comment to DP "that stinks, but I never smelt that bad because I wasn't a smelly smoker.. did i" apparently I really did and it was worse if I had, had wine.
