Excuse me - I had no interest in shutting your thread down - you ascribe way too much importance to yourselves. I did however have an interest in stopping a thread from making not so hidden jibes at another poster who I consider to be in an extremely vulnerable position at the moment. It would appear, that between HQ and myself and whichever other posters have been reporting you, that is now clear. Referring to posters who shall not be named and certain other posters does not actually disguise anything.

They have been here and stayed throughout so their voice is the first and the loudest. They have never had a thread that went against them so openly before and it is not liked.

This actually made me laugh loud enough for my children to ask what was funny. Are you really of the opinion that this is the first thread of its nature - the only difference is that a lot of the initial part of this thread was aimed at one poster and not a group of them - making it way more unpleasant in its nature than the norm.

I am not vunerable, I have been through my own personal hell which makes me immune to the postings of people I have never met, I am comfortable in my views and indeed have spent some considerable time discussing various things with a very experienced family therapist. Im well read and well informed on the topics I discuss and do not pluck random ideas from the air.

I said I didn't post lately - its prob been about 6 months. Oddly enough - I do read more than I post, in addition, I am camping - at home I have more things to fill my time.

I don't think the poster you have been goading can defend herself - it sort of reminds me of poking a bear with a stick and then being oh so shocked when the bear retaliates.

It's good to see some step parents who don't dislike their SC!

My DD (eldest of 3) has been accused of being a "mini-wife" by her father and his partner. She's 10. She is a very confused little girl - Daddy was single for 3 years, during which time she grew accustomed to doing his cooking, laundry, helping with her brothers etc. XH doesn't appear to understand that his reliance on her caused the massive problems she has with his new partner, and they've decided to deal with it through punitive discipline. She still has to do the cooking and laundry though.

I think the idea of mini-wife syndrome is insidious and damaging to everyone - and removes yet more responsibility from the father, as everyone gets to blame the child at the centre of it!

I asked MNHQ to delete my former thread as it was becoming a farce, just to get it up to 1000 posts. Amy's response, which I posted on here "well we will just let it fill up (to 1000 posts), because if we do delete it, then the probability is that another thread will start up referencing it. Implying IMO, that another thread would not start up. Oh how wrong (or naiive) they were. This thread has been nothing but an attack on "That Poster who will not be named". Oh that's me, ha ha ha! Yes this thread came about because of that thread but the only things we are discussing are the blogs, terminology and different SPing styles.
