Firstly, please stop discussing Costa muffins as it's making us hungry and won't cut it.

Secondly, we've had a fair few reports about this thread. We'd really appreciate it if you could avoid discussing other posters or threads, as we'd hate to have to zap this one.

Ok, I have debating posting this but we have a conflict here.

I reported a stream of why's posts in an effort to keep the contentious subject off the thread.

AmyMumsnet sent my the following message at 12.03pm

Thanks for your reports. We wouldn't really count these posts as harassment. Given that the thread is a spin-off from another thread it is only natural that people will bring it up. As long as it doesn't turn into a TAAT then we're just going to leave it as it is, otherwise it will lead to us stifling one set of views in preference of another.

Sorry for any confusion. To clarify, we felt that if a thread was started as a spin-off from another thread, it's a bit much to suggest that posters from the first thread posting here about said thread is harassment.

However, if it turns into a discussion which picks apart the previous thread, and therefore it becomes a TAAT, we'd have to zap it. This is why we advised you not to discuss said thread on here.

Now I've said thread far too many times, it's lost all meaning. I hope you're happy .
