FlossyMoo · 04/08/2014 12:09

Iroe Why are you not eating [curiousfaceinahat]?

Pagwatch · 04/08/2014 12:10

I love porridge
I was one of eight children and my mum used to make this huge pot every morning in the winter. As the years go by in my memory it has become like a cauldron on an open fire.
When I tell my grandchildren one day I will have embellished it so much in my head that it will be like a scene from game of thrones

Pagwatch · 04/08/2014 12:11

Poor Walter

NickiFury · 04/08/2014 12:11

Waltermittythesequel · 04/08/2014 12:13

Game of Thrones Porridge. I like it!

Montegomongoose · 04/08/2014 12:18

It's many moons since I was a step parent and i found it incredibly challenging. I've been following this and That thread and wanted to say you all (in the main) sound like the kind of lovely people who would have made my life so much more joyous if only there'd been MN and hat-bombing then.

I have been willing you all on to just keep on with the nonsense and delighted to see you've got this far, despite some heavy fire.

My support and Flowers to you all; your SDCs are lucky children.

Waltermittythesequel · 04/08/2014 12:29

Hi Monte

IorekByrnisonsArmour · 04/08/2014 12:34

I'm seeing a business op here

After 6 weeks my voice will be weakened by shouting chatting with my DC

Maybe I could give my voice a break and don an emotions hat

If it helps I could be in business for next year

FlossyMoo · 04/08/2014 12:50

Ohhhh you entrepreneur Io Grin

Is it wrong to be still laughing at Hoobys hat bomb? Blush

GoshAnneGorilla · 04/08/2014 12:53

Just popping up to applaud the hats, positivity and Game of Thrones porridge. [Smile]

ArsenicFaceCream · 04/08/2014 12:56

Hi everyone,

Firstly, please stop discussing Costa muffins as it's making us hungry and cake won't cut it.

Secondly, we've had a fair few reports about this thread. We'd really appreciate it if you could avoid discussing other posters or threads, as we'd hate to have to zap this one.

Thanks

Hi Smile, I'm guessing you haven't had a chance to RTFT yet. It actually would be great if an MNHQer could RTFT and advise because we could't have been clearer that we DON'T want to discuss individuals or other threads.

Thanks.

Oh and AmyMumsnet re that deletion of my pst this morning,

I expected because I got cross and snapped, so fair enough.

But I got cross and snapped because the poster in question was trying to hold us responsible for the future nervous breakdown of a poster who trolled US last night, who we have been trying very hard to AVOID discussing, who certain people who are determined to steer the conversation back to.

Some of us are unfortunate enough to know that serious MH crises are not joking matters. Accusing casual bystanders of causing them by vitue of being sworn AT is actually rather more off than what I was deleted for.
