The refurbished SP Wine Bar is once again open, as while you don't have to drink to be a Step Parent, it helps.

Contact changed at no notice?

Disney Dad and sulky Skids?

Damned if you do and damned if you don't???

Ahhh, thats better!

BarfTheHeraldAngelsHeave · 23/12/2011 21:06

I had a very boring tea, but am making up for it with wine and chocolate

OP posts:
EverybodyKnows · 23/12/2011 21:08

oh Chocolate...

NotaDisneyMum · 23/12/2011 21:09

I have a -bottle- glass of wine, a child-free house, a chilli on the hob and a pile of presents to wrap.

It's the 'other parents' turn for Christmas this year - DSS arrives on 27th and DD on 30th; should I feel guilty that part of me is looking forward to a few days 'us time' with DP?

EverybodyKnows · 23/12/2011 21:14

NADM- Absolutely not. Make the best of it.

NotaDisneyMum · 23/12/2011 21:19

Excellent, I'll open another bottle and introduce myself, then!

Mum to DD - eleven - who lives 50:50 with me and my arse of an exH (he's a good dad just lacking any social awareness) and non-resident SM to DSS, eight, who is struggling with the conflict caused by his mums hostility towards DP, me and anyone who doesn't agree with her Wink
DP also has a fourteen yr old DD who hasn't spoken to him for a year because she gave him an ultimatum and he didn't throw me and DD out on the street as she demanded!

Damn - I need A LOT more wine!

EverybodyKnows · 23/12/2011 21:29

Good grief, here's more Wine

BarfTheHeraldAngelsHeave · 23/12/2011 21:32

Hello NADM :)

I am not feling as festive as I tghought I would tonight.
