The refurbished SP Wine Bar is once again open, as while you don't have to drink to be a Step Parent, it helps.

Contact changed at no notice?

Disney Dad and sulky Skids?

Damned if you do and damned if you don't???

Ahhh, thats better!

I'm here

MJinSparklyStockings · 22/12/2011 23:37

I should I should not have OCD about wrapping every single item individually wrap the bag.

I have however just discovered that the bargainous playmobil castle and pirate ship I bought ds (£30 for the 2) was an even bigger bargain as at the bottom of the black bag were loads of extras, knights, pirates (therefore I didn't have to spend £70 on extras.

I cannot wait to see dds ds face when everything is together, h unfortunately dd who has equally bargains baby born (because I bought bundles and sold off loads) is not I think going to be so excited - because she will also want a playmobil castle and pirate ship - even though she is too little

My bet is by end of jan I will be selling a mountain of baby born and getting more playmobil for her.

She will love the castle too - :) ah tis magical it is magical :)

If you have a look in the SEN Children section, you can find my Aspergers Round Robin. I thought it important to celebrate DS's achievements properly.

Yaaaaaaawn! We're enjoying a continental breakfast this morning chez heave. I.e foods they can eat watching kids tv. My standards have slipped as the week has worn on, from being fully showered, dressed and full on a healthy breakfast by 8 to in jarmies eating sandwiches in front of the telly. Yay for holidays!!

Mmmmmmmm.

Viva has Christmas Kareokee at 5.00 - must be suitably merry for the singalong.

EverybodyKnows · 23/12/2011 16:31

I'm having Rum & Coke Grin

Feels good to be on hols. Gifts are wrapped. Food and loads of booze is bought and now I can truly relax for the first time in weeks. Lucky too, DH's Job has the same closure so we'll be together for 11 days- Duvets days, Nice long walks with dog and friends coming over.

DBDs are back boxing day, it's tough for DD not to have her siblings on Xmas ( we do EO Christmas ) but we have been invited to friends for Christmas lunch so that will take her mind off it. Boxing Day will be the 2nd XMas for all 3 girls and then we have the whole week together Smile

MJinSparklyStockings · 23/12/2011 18:01

I cant tell you a lie - I caved it's dds bday soon so I got a playmobil palace for her last night on evil bay - dh not best pleased - says she is too young

EverybodyKnows · 23/12/2011 18:14

no she's not. She's the youngest and they are always very advanced I find.

My DD and DBD played with playmobil from 18-20 Months. Just be careful with the very very small bits. People are fine.

Doh! Just to add to the useless quotient, I have managed to use DDs name in the post above, so here it is again without the name in as I've asked for it to be deleted.

Evening everyone!

I have a large glass of wine and a story of utter uselessness to share. Hang on...

Sorry had to shut the door as everyone was born in a fucking BARN in this household.

Anyway, I went to ASDA to get DD's birthday cake this evening. I came back with a gallon of milk, a new jumper, some sweet chilli dipping sauce and some lancashire cheese and no fucking cake.

Now, if I was the creative homely sort then I would bake one, but I am not, I am a "pay over the odds for a sickly sweet Peppa Pig cake from ASDA sort". Arsebiscuits.

MJinSparklyStockings · 23/12/2011 18:42

I think the thought of more being added to the humongous pile of christmas presents on her birthday is giving him kittens Grin, I have to be honest and say I have no idea where it is all going to go!!!

Is it DDs birthday tomorrow Barf??

BarfTheHeraldAngelsHeave · 23/12/2011 18:44

No, boxing day, so I still have tomorrow to get one, but I hadn't planned on braving the supermarket on xmas eve. Gah!

MJinSparklyStockings · 23/12/2011 18:59
