The refurbished SP Wine Bar is once again open, as while you don't have to drink to be a Step Parent, it helps.

Contact changed at no notice?

Disney Dad and sulky Skids?

Damned if you do and damned if you don't???

Ahhh, thats better!

I don't sense the right amount of appreciation for my song!!! I'm having a Diva strop.

(I was composing from work).

MJinSparklyStockings · 22/12/2011 17:00

I'm sinking into a boiling hot bath- dd sleeping, ds and neglectful husband painting.

Work over (never doing this many extra hours again missed dcs so much!!)

Wine being fetched by hubby - book in hand - bliss.

EverybodyKnows · 22/12/2011 17:05

BarfTheHeraldAngelsHeave · 22/12/2011 17:10

Drink!!! I need a drink! I think DSD is coming to us as normal tonight... please god. I have tasked myself with making 50 sausage rolls and 30 mince pies so we can have a nice old time together doing that.

Wine anyone? I'm already on it - client meeting earlier.. yay!

therantingBOM · 22/12/2011 17:21

What's with the highlighted/ underscored words?

BarfTheHeraldAngelsHeave · 22/12/2011 19:33

Evening everyone

Slurping slurping - we had a lovely visit from poor down trodden dss - don't know what he was thinking of!

An enjoying wine and liquer in a beautiful kit royale

chelen · 22/12/2011 19:54

I've had a Cava, which is rare treat for me so I am feeling quite Christmassy! After my massive Xmas rant I am now firmly focused on living it up and enjoying not having to referee two squabbling children, whilst quaffing many free drinks wherever possible! I am sad no more. (Well, maybe a little sad inside but going to have xmas fun anyway!)

Glad tidings one and all [slurp] x

Debating whether to blow Christmas Money on this www.anniehaakdesigns.co.uk/jewellery-sets/sama-sparkel-5-strand-crystal-silver-charm-bracelet.html

Or have this as mum would pay ands I'd have spare

here

chelen · 22/12/2011 20:00

If you have the cash to choose go with whichever you love most. I think compromises and sensible choices about jewelery or shoes usually just means you end up buying both in the long run!

BarfTheHeraldAngelsHeave · 22/12/2011 20:19

They are both lovely but I would go for the necklace being a practical sort, simply as I reckon the bracelet would get caught in everything!

OP posts:
MJinSparklyStockings · 22/12/2011 20:21

Necklace is more sensible and also free necklace it is!

Ordering now!

MJinSparklyStockings · 22/12/2011 20:48

Is it illegal to give the dcs the cava - how do you reason with a 3 year old who says - but I don't care if Santa is watching I don't need presents!"

BarfTheHeraldAngelsHeave · 22/12/2011 20:50

Just let them steal it and then its OK, right?

MJinSparklyStockings · 22/12/2011 21:04

EverybodyKnows · 22/12/2011 22:56

I reckon it's the most special tape he uses Xmas Grin

samwellsbutt · 22/12/2011 22:58

Grin yes for his only super special pressies.

EverybodyKnows · 22/12/2011 23:01

MJinSparklyStockings · 22/12/2011 23:02

Whirlwinds in - cava in one hand - black bag of junk presents in other.

Sobs at thought of wrapping a thousand small playmobil figures.

Runs out screaming!!!!!!

EverybodyKnows · 22/12/2011 23:11

Just wrap the bag Grin
