glug, glug, glug, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Oh WkdSM, did you want to say 'Der, Helloooooo??'

Bless him though, trying to see the best in her and everything.

I've lost count of the times I've thought 'I really, really hope she proves me wrong this time'

Nope never does, - Always delivers.

WkdSM · 10/11/2010 16:48

Oh - really - does someone dislike stepmums?

If they do - why would they lurk on this forum - bit like - well - wierd and I don't have a life isn't it? Not that I like to judge other people by making snap decisions when I know nothing about the subject. That would be naughty. It would need a thread all to itself

Really must go and have a glass of wine before I make any more silly errors like giving DS a home in when his RM threw him out.

WkdSM · 10/11/2010 16:50

Jonesy - cross posted

After 12 / 13 years he has now admitted that far from being the voice of doom, I am actually the Oracle of Delphi and am quite good at working out what she is up to. DH always liked to try and see the best in her behaviour because he hoped that she would get better (nope!) - after her last little escapade though he has seen the light. No more Mr Nice Guy!!

WildistheWind · 10/11/2010 16:54

FFS

jonesy71 · 10/11/2010 16:56

DH actually started to worry about my character because I became so accurate in my predictions about her, he was like 'well if you can think the way she thinks and I was the one married to her, what kind of person are you'

I then explained (or tried to) the benefit of women's intuition to him.

And reminded him that I was most definitely not like her !!

jonesy71 · 10/11/2010 16:58

I was wondering about our club in OTBT or would that be like 'hiding in shame' ?

WildistheWind · 10/11/2010 17:00

They can come and lurk all they want , as long and they shut up!

We're so not hiding in OTBT

jonesy71 · 10/11/2010 17:03

I would like to raise a glass to MJ, for our first 'deletion'

Woo hooo!!

It has occurred to me that maybe there aren't any SMs in HQ? I mean the glaring omission of the SM acronym and all?

Genuinely, just pondering though...

Starting to get a bit twilight zone...

jonesy71 · 10/11/2010 17:05

Ok Pegs, we will brave it out then.

WildistheWind · 10/11/2010 17:06

I had a moment just like yours Jonesy yesterday, then I was chatting with DH about this and he was outraged !

I did report one message on the nasty thread and my request was completly ignored.

Double standards, beloved double standards.

We're are the unwanted of MN I guess.

jonesy71 · 10/11/2010 19:46

I'm very glad to see HQ has a sense of humour though.

"we don't tend to delete unless they are racist, libellous or a personal attack"

{hmm]
