Ta.

BackToRealitySigh · 12/10/2025 11:35

Interesting and good logic for choosing this weekend.

MrsMitford3 · 12/10/2025 16:03

Bloody hell that poor Brighton player took that full in the face-hope she is ok

DuncinToffee · 12/10/2025 16:53

Ah well, 1-0 up at half time, couple of deflections and an own goal later we lose 4-1.

Man U were by far the better team

Good crowd turn-out

Very nasty for Mpome. Concussion, I would assume.

ETA: Brighton's lavender/powder blue away kit is gaw-juss! I love their yellow with the thin stripe as well. Nicest kits of the season.

Snowypeaks · 12/10/2025 18:47

Bad luck Duncin' - United are on a mission at the moment.

And bad luck BacktoReality's daughters.

Not really bad luck, bad game plan. Fans are fed up with Sorensen but the seems to have the board's backing.

I haven't watched the game yet, just going by comments on the forums.

Ah, I see. That's unfortunate. Is it a case of fans getting sick of false dawns?

There's nothing worse than watching a bad loss on replay when you know how it's going to go. Grim.

A bit of both I think, it's just difficult to see what the team set up and playing style is. Not just for fans but also for the players.

Just frustrating.

Man U started well again, I see.

BackToRealitySigh · 16/10/2025 21:32

Harsh red card and squad is very thin on the ground - but another win. We'll take that.

Just booked tickets ffor Brisbane Road for the subway cup on Sunday coz dd1 wouldn't stop going on about. Soooo many tickets left. Fingers crossed for a goalfest but I don't think Birmingham are a bad side.

Snowypeaks · 17/10/2025 05:12

Birmingham certainly have a reputation for defensive solidity.
Sorry about Janssen, I really like her from her days at Arsenal. I will try to catch the UWCL highlights over the weekend.
Looking forward to watching Man City on Sunday in the Conti Cup (as it will always be to me!)

BackToRealitySigh · 19/10/2025 20:23

Surprisingly good afternoon at Brisbane Road - Spurs look like a different team this season, there's a different energy through the coaching staff & the team.
Sounds like you had a heck of a match watching city this pm @Snowypeaks

Agreed on both counts!

Let's hope they do better than the seniors last week.

I see it ended 1-1. Did you watch the match?

Yes Portugal were really good in the first half but we came out fighting in the second half and should have won.

A couple of the stand-out players play for City Lionesses. One is ex Arsenal.

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 28/10/2025 20:10

Our Australian players are going to be exhausted

Also, we need practice playing against 11 players so it isn't great for us either.

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 28/10/2025 20:37

Poor Michelle.

Snowypeaks · 28/10/2025 23:55

Absolutely gutting. Looks like an ACL. Awful for her, for Arsenal and Brighton.

DuncinToffee · 29/10/2025 09:04

Oh that would be sad news.

OP posts:
MrsMitford3 · 29/10/2025 09:22

Bloody hell another one.

How awful for michelle. hoping for a quick recovery for her

Snowypeaks · 29/10/2025 09:28

I don't know for a fact that it is an ACL tear, it just looked like it. Could be an MCL tear, which wouldn't be as bad.
