Why can't you watch the full replay on the Arsenal website?

https://www.arsenal.com/video?entryid=0_d49ygcsb

I didn't know when I wrote my post - their preview only said they would put the highlights up.

Clearly I give up way too easily and don't pay enough attention 😀 - thanks!

Snowypeaks · 06/04/2026 18:59

City v Chelsea and Brighton v Liverpool are ideal semifinals for the neutral.

Scoobydoobydoo19 · 14/04/2026 21:07

Amazing performance from the Lionesses!

DuncinToffee · 14/04/2026 21:10

I missed it Sad Only just got home.

Hemp scored from a corner only just over the line after 3 minutes. We had a few more chances in the first half but didn't make the most of them.

Spain came out all guns blazing in second half and we defended brilliantly, some hairy moments, a few hit the bar and some good saves from Hampton. My only criticism would be that we couldn't get out to attack ourselves but all in all the 3 points is what matters.

Russo’s assist was crazy!!! What composure- she is a helluva player!!

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 14/04/2026 21:40

Yes, very nervy at the end but well done to them.

You all know how much I love Alessia Russo.

Am I allowed another Alessia Russo appreciation post? Brilliant goal to put the Lionesses 1-0 up.

illuminada · 18/04/2026 18:11

And another disgraceful pitch

DuncinToffee · 18/04/2026 18:25

Keep the Russo appreciation posts coming

Agree about the pitch

That second half wasn't very good 😬

Scoobydoobydoo19 · 18/04/2026 19:43

Definitely much harder than it should have been!

The only consolation is I'm not sure how Spain will manage on that pitch! 😂

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 18/04/2026 21:12

Yes, not sure what happened in the second half.

MrsMitford3 · 26/04/2026 18:38

Another game of two halves-Arsenal so so so much better second half.

Olivia Smith goal a thing of beauty!!!!

Think we need to toughen up for the second leg away...

Scoobydoobydoo19 · 26/04/2026 19:52

I was just coming to share my appreciation for Olivia Smith - a really well taken goal even if the goalkeeper could have done better.

A great comeback win but not sure a one goal cushion is enough for the second leg. What do we think?

My oldest is terribly disappointed about the news of Beth England leaving Spurs. She loves her even more since our first match a couple of seasons ago when she got to speak to her.
With the announcement of 4 departures yesterday as well as ongoing ACLs for Jess Naz & Maite Oros squad starting to look thin for next season. I love Tinka but she is no where near the level of Beth.
A least they announced before last home game this Sunday.

DuncinToffee · 01/05/2026 09:25

She will be a big miss for Tottenham.

Laura Coombs is retiring as well.

Well, we were outplayed.

Lyon deserved to win.

Well, we were outplayed.

Lyon deserved to win.

I watched the first half and then switched to the stressful matters in the EFL but from what I saw Arsenal just weren't at it today. The players Lyon had missing in the first leg were back and made a huge difference.
Arsenal need to consolidate their top 3 space for next year's competition now (or does Man Utd's result mean that's already done?)
