Surely there must be a minimum standard for a CL pitch?

I wonder if they chose it deliberately knowing that it would affect our play more than theirs.

Ha! I'm not sure about that, but I read that it's quite usual for Spanish women's pitches to be in that state. I did think, when they exchanged the pennants at the start, that the grass seemed quite long as well, surprising for a passing team.

I may be a hopeless optimist but I think we'll win at the Emirates, even if we need extra time.

I was quite down after the first half, it seemed like one of those games when we have 50 shots but none on target. And then barely had I sat down with my second half cuppa when.. bang!

Do you agree that Chloe Kelly has made a big difference to our squad and I am not sure that we would have won without her?

I assume you know about Tim Stillman who blogs about Arsenal women and he was saying that RM didn't deserve to go through - the players did, but not the club itself, because of their attitude to the women's game and their own team. That's how I feel!

Peak Beth Mead might have done it for us with a different game plan, but I totally agree that there was a Kelly-shaped hole in the squad!
