The Welsh cyclist who I saw win a medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the raising of the Welsh flag will be there- Emma Finucaine, one of the fastest women in the world on a cycle.

She always looks utterly furious to be where she is, like for goodness sake, I have to be in the bloody Olympics

The bouldering is fun to watch, but I can't get over how calm they are when they fall and just drop on that rope! I think these climbers would find bungee jumping dull.

Gold for Toby Roberts! I don't think he realised he had gold, his face was a bit in shock. He did so well.

Not sure about breaking as an olympic sport. It looks very cool, but seems very subjective re scoring. Maybe it will grow on me in the later rounds.

I was going to watch the 800m with KJT but the kids have been crazy noisy. DH has just taken them and the dog out for a walk and I'm enjoying the silence. I don't like watching races in silence. Decisions decisions.

Haven’t said a lot about KJT, I didn’t want to curse it. I’ve watched ALL of that heartbreak over the years, but regardless, she absolutely deserves that silver medal, I’m crying! She’s amazing!

Aww this victory lap! 😭 wow! Of all people over all the time and everything, KJT just deserves this medal and should have won more. Her career has been more of an endurance than getting up at 3am to watch Dean Macey!! (Showing my age now!!)

Glad I got to see the end of the Women's shot put. Ogunleye of Germany snatching it right at the very end! But Maddi Wesche got a PB and silver for NZ. So pleased for her.
