I think Lewis is just Done with his Mercedes era. Fair enough at this stage. He may have lost a little one lap pace but if Ferrari give him a competitive car he'll be right on it I have no doubt (and I'm not particularly a fan).

Lewis in the Las Vegas race was on fire and showed he still has it. Even in qually he can be quick then suddenly it goes - the question is why.

Given his mood and some of the things Toto has been saying I presume all is not well behind closed doors.

That's a very weird penalty for Verstappen. Russell wasn't on a hot lap at the time, it should have been a reprimand. This is really highlighting the inconsistency with stewarding the drivers are complaining about.

I'm happy to be corrected, but a one place grid drop isn't a usual punishment. It seems very specific 🤔

I agree it seems a very targeted penalty. Remember we have a new race director.

Many years ago I screamed at Heikki Kovalainen to “get out of the car remember Nikki Lauda” when he was slowly rolling his burning car to find a fire Marshall post.

What a strange race... just when you think things couldn't be any more bizarre. Norris got a harsh penalty for not slowing. Obviously a safety issue and he should have slowed but why didn't they get the safety car out a lot sooner if safety is their priority. Lewis and Carlos getting punctures could have been avoided also.

So Ferrari are closing the gap in the constructors championship.

Ferrari had a lot of luck with penalties in that race to close up the constructors.

Huge inconsistencies again from previous races with penalties.

That race was just a shambles.

This is the sort of stuff I love about formula one sometimes. Utterly ridiculous.

How long do we think before Max says Lando's penalty was harsh?
