Someone on Reddit has complied a list of all the rule changes that the FIA have implemented due to things that Max and Lewis have done on (and off) track.

I'll try to post the links, but essentially they've changed 13 rules due to Max since 2016, and 8 due to Lewis since 2007 (4 of which were not at all related to driving - stuff like jewellery, helmet design, political messaging).

Some tips on how to look good in red?

@RockaLock Thank you very interesting but I think some are just re-stating the rules and others changing. I’m fairly sure not overtaking on the formation lap was written after Michael Schumacher did it.

Lewis’s Spa one was the Stewards deciding the rule after the race and then writing the regulation. The rule was give the place back, which Lewis did. They changed it to say you needed to wait until after the next corner to overtake. He got a 25 second penalty! I think they have actually changed the rule back so it’s just give the place back - which Lewis should have done in AD2021.

@CelesteCunningham honestly back in the summer I thought 2025 was a write off but the car really seems to have come into its own the last few weeks so I'm quietly hopeful 🤣

He is apparently unwell so not taking part in media day. Nor FP1 as it’s Felipe Drugovich’s turn. I hope he is OK for FP2.

Is Kimi Antonelli driving for Lewis this weekend (as in for the whole weekend)?

It’s just FP1.

One of the requirement on teams is that each driver must sit out at least one FP1 to allow rookies with less that two GP starts to do the session.

From next year it goes up to two x FP1.

Just seen the Albon Bearman crash. Ollie was so unlucky.

Kimi seems to have done ok. It’s weird having another Kimi on the grid - there was only one Iceman.

George tops the times but Mercs Friday times can be deceptive.

I'm a bit late watching due to the start times, so watching most of it the next day. That mercedes crash was quite nasty, very similar to Hamiltons' last week where the rear of the car looks really unstable. I really don't think either of the Merc drives should try push that car this weekend, it just looks so unpredictable and dangerous.

I agree, I think both Lewis and George will be glad to see the back of the 2024.

I know this is not that type of thread but the gorgeous Alessandro managed to turn his trip in to a an athletic move.

It looked pretty painful but he managed to style it out.

Well done Carlos. Whilst I’m not a Max fan he is getting everything out of the RB.

Slept through the second half of quali. Exciting top 4 though, should be fun tomorrow. Shame not to see Lando ahead of Max to keep the championship alive but we'll see tomorrow.
