I have Nunez in my team, I should have picked him as captain instead of Haaland today!

The boy benched Nunez in favour of Wilson. Also has Haarland as captain as does everyone else

Still fuming after todays result.

What are you fuming about Eddie? Very exciting game. Liverpool shouldn't have won really. But they did. Fact. Gordon's goal was lovely. Such nice finishing. Trent Alexander Arnold probably should've got Red card and been sent off. But because he didn't the Ref recognised that, and sent off van Dijk. So now Liverpool are down to 10 men. But this is the bit that matters. Then Newcastle didn't capitalise. They were too casual, too relaxed and they sat back and didn't put the game to bed. then Liverpool bought on Nunez. And his 2 goals were simply amazing. Classy. At the end the commentators said that Eddie looked dazed, dumbfounded. He did. But he shouldn't be, should he. He's a very experienced coach, so he shouldn't have let that happen. it was a missed opportunity and as this season ends he'll very much regret allowing those points to have been missed.

Yes, Newcastle did what we did on Saturday against Fulham. We relaxed as soon as they went down to ten and paid the price. We could easily have lost too but were more fortunate.

Well yes all of that @Oblomov23, we should not have lost that game. Our subs were unfathomable, taking off two of our best players in Gordon and Tonali made no sense to me. (One bright point is just how good Gordon looked). We should have killed the game early but we just failed to take our chances and then made two identical mistakes to let bloody cannit hit a barn door Núñez take advantage (who I took out my FPL this week).

It’s an infuriating game is football.

I'm hoping that Havertz will come good in the end, as Arteta obviously thinks he's got something, but I really think he should start on the bench and earn his way into the team in the way Vieira has done. He doesn't seem to have any connection to his team mates, leaving Martinelli isolated without the through balls that he thrives on. I'd rather see Smith Rowe starting, and Havertz can come off the bench either when we're comfortable, or if we need something else.

At the moment, it's not working.

And get big Gabby back in defence!

I like seeing L2 strugglers in high profile cup games, they normally give good accounts of themselves with the pressure off. Feel sad for Donny but nice goal from Beto.

Gills went out to Luton last night but gave the hosts a nervy few minutes at the end when Nichols made it 3-2.

I didn't think Everton were going to get that until the last 10 minutes I have to say.

The least said about Rangers in the Champions League the better today. 🙈

Happy with Lincoln v West Ham in the Carabao draw. Not going to take a win for granted but I was worried we were going to get a Manchester there.
