I've come down with suspected Covid so no trip to Gayfield for me today as I feel rough as anything. I wouldn't want to pass it on to any of my nearby seatmates either. I actually sit beside the lovely MIL of one of the directors so wouldn't want to risk their wrath if I got her and her sister ill. 🙈

Am currently watching the 2nd Bundesliga - mad match between Magedeburg and Hertha Berlin - berlin go one up, then magdeburg equalized right up to 4-4 and now Magdeburg are leading 5-4 with 15 minutes to go.

Heading off to the Borussia park later to get stuffed by Bayern München. We have the best record against them, usually beat them at home and often draw away, but our goalie is out and we have lost most of our team one way or another over the last 18 months and are left with a load of newbies. What will be will be. But at least i finally get to see Harry Kane live.

as anticipated we lost 1-2 - Kane did absolutely nothing, barely noticed him at all which was disappointing. I guess it will take time for him to settle in, so hopefully he'll be there for this fixture next season when our brand new shiny very young squad have gelled and we can issue our usual drubbing of Bayern. (it amazes me however shit Gladbach are, they usually manage to pull off a win against Bayern, often away too)

The atmosphere was amazing, the home end stands were amazing, still in full voice when we left.

Thrilling Spurs performance today, everyone had a great game and a lovely hatrick for Sonny. Players really seem to have belief in the new system and even going a goal down didn't set them back. Would have been a different story under Conte.

Gills lost and played shit, last 2 league games has seen them just lumping the ball forward and hoping for the best. We have a decent team now so to see this style of football again after the beginning of last season is disappointing.

It has not been a great few weeks to be a Newcastle fan 🙄

Yes, I was trying to be open minded about Harvertz, but we shouldn't be starting him at the moment.

We played so much better after the changes. Arteta should have made the changes earlier. I don't know why he leaves it so late. He made the changes early in the Fulham game but not this time.

Newcastle strip. Can't see why Havertz didn't get penalised for simulation.

I think if that had been the other way around then that penalty is given.

But I've said it before, Havertz should not be starting, he needs to work his way into the team. At least with Zinchenko playing it allowed Martinelli to have more of an impact.
