Man City have been charged by the FA for failing to control their players (when they surrounded Simon Hooper en masse) but no individual players have been charged.

I have seen a few yellow cards dished out for dissent in the PL this season but as you say, it isn't consistent. Same for time wasting, although players seem to have stopped doing that now.

Now they are being scrupulous about adding on wasted time there is no benefit to wasting time, especially if you're in the 2nd half and it's cold, wet and everyone's legs are tired

So apparently the reason Kurt Zouma didn't play for West Ham yesterday is that he and his family were burgled while they were at home. The club is offering a £25k reward for any information that leads to a successful prosecution. Apparently over £100,000 of cash and jewellery were taken.

That should never have been that close. We took it too easily, and then the referee let them get away with some, shall we say, "enthusiastic" challenges. Raya didn't look like an upgrade on Ramsdale on that performance. VAR was dreadful yet again.

Gladbach finally drew a home game in the cup but i was working late and couldn't go. They won with the only goal scored - in the 121st minute. So - yaayyy quarter finals here we come. Pls all keep your thumbs pressed for another home match for us so i can finally see them in the cup.

well, i may start to dare to hope that if Gladbach don't lose their heads it may be possible to get at least to the cup final. Dortmund are out and Hamburg, so really only Leverkusen (who will hopefully win the league this year) to beat. So as long as we don't draw them in the quarter or semis we may have a not bad season....
it is, as we all say, the hope that kills you

I have to say that if Trent Alexander-Arnold had made the mistakes Trippier has made tonight, every paper and pundit would tear into him mercilessly for it for a long time to come. As it’s Trippier, though, it will quickly be forgotten (as it quite rightly should). You can also imagine what would have been said had Darwin Nunez missed the sitter that Dominic Calvert-Lewin spurned tonight. (This isn’t an anti-Liverpool conspiracy theory - just interesting to see how certain players get “picked on”, for want of a better phrase, compared to others. See also how Saint Kane gets away with his dives compared to fellow diving aficionado Anthony Gordon!)

Wow indeed Duncin. I certainly didn't predict that. It looks like West Ham will win too. I must say I'd prefer this to the one or two team title race that we've have so often in the last few years.

Spurs have dropped 14 points from winning positions in their last five Premier League games.

Good results for us this week. Apart from Liverpool, who are quietly creeping up on us.

I've been out most of the evening thanks to a panto rehearsal so I got home and put on the Spurs v West Ham match just after the last goal so I managed to miss them all. Happy with the result at least but can't really comment on the form since I didn't see very much of the match.
