I’m so confused. What did they win the bronze for, wasn’t that an all around final?

That was for the team final.

They won bronze for the team final. This is the individual.

In Team each country has 4 athletes and on each of the 4 apparatus (6 for men) each country needs 3 routines, so not all team members will compete on all pieces.

In individual AA each athlete must perform on all pieces of apparatus, it's entirely individual and their teammates performance has no bearing on their standing.

Hoping for Rebeca Andrade to do well. She's had so many injuries in her career

The live scoring website does show full names, but not sure how it looks on mobile.The D'Amato twins would also be impossible to sedate with just a first initial and surname.

Why start the coverage on BBC for 20 mins then switch to BBC 2. I had it on pause so have missed it all now 😔

I'd have thought identical twins would have enough potential for confusion without giving them the same initial and such similar names!

This is brought up pretty much every gymnastics final.

BBC are not in control of the images. The TV coverage of gymnastics is the same all across the world with different commentary over the top. It's typically this approach for all gymnastics competitions in qualification, team finals, and all around finals where there are multiple routines happening at once - for the first few rotations they try to show a variety, but as the competition starts to draw to a close the coverage focuses in on the top of the leader board, as people want to see the routines from the top athletes the most. BBC usually show the missed GB routines in the break where they rotate and warm up. I mean this in the kindest way to the Gadirovas, they are not big names in gymnastics, and not high profile, there will be little to none international interest in them.

Switch back to bb1 for the second time! Arrraaaggh why can't they just keep it on one channel🙄

The channel switching is very annoying but I struggle to get to angry at BBC, their hands are very much tied with the horrible situation of only being permitted two live streams, they are always going to upset someone and they need to be dynamic, show a variety of sports, and British medals. I'm angry with IOC as we didn't just lose the bid, it was a closed door deal and BBC were not even given the opportunity to keep the coverage. For me making it so inaccessible goes against the spirit of the Olympics, and is very sad for our athletes who aren't getting the coverage they should.

Shame about the fall for Jessica Gadirova. She did well to compose herself after the fall.

I know it’s not the BBCs coverage, but whoever is doing the coverage is not really doing a fair spread, especially for the first few rotations.
I understand they want to focus on the girls who are in medal contention and the GB twins are not hot topic, but they should try and show a bit of each countries entries throughout.

I'm delighted for Sunisa Lee and Melnikova. Would love the see them (+Andrade, + Murakami) on the podium.

I was rooting for Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos, Lu Yufei, and the Gadirovas too, but their scores seem unlikely to medal now.
