That’s beautiful. You must want to turn the volume down on the world right now.

Fabulous! I like to watch the two Welsh guys on YouTube with their extractions (Audiology Associates). Find myself holding my breath at times ....

I have psoriasis in both ears and the dry flaky skin inside an ear is the most irritating thing on Gods green earth.

Rhys and Taylor are the best! 🤣

MidlifeSpinalCrisis · 05/07/2025 13:20

Im equally impressed and appalled 😮 you must be living life in dolby surround sound right now.

My son has very waxy ears and all I've been told we can do is use olive oil type drops and massage the outside. It's loosened things up, but hasn't come out. I can see a chunk within one ear canal that is so big it's blocking it, but it's too far in to pick out safely.

Specsavers won't treat under 18s, my gp doesn't do ear wax clearing. Bloody nightmare. Im reluctant to try flushing at home in case I hurt him.

SaintNoMountainHighEnough · 05/07/2025 13:34

That's disgusting.

I love it.

There’s plenty of other decent audiologists out there who will suction it out ? Google it and you’ll find them:) it ENT paediatric specialists will

Lorrymum · 05/07/2025 14:01

I thought they were insects until I read your post!!

CareerChange24 · 05/07/2025 15:12

Purchased now, thanks for the link. Tired of everyone saying I’m shouting and I have no idea I am.

MoominUnderWater · 05/07/2025 15:30

Ears feel much better today, think there must have been a bit of water left over last night which has now gone. I’ll have to check the YouTube channel which has been mentioning out, not come across it before.

How on earth do people get to have ears that do that and is it wrong that I’m envious?!

Not wrong, I am too!!!

LittlleMy · 05/07/2025 16:11

@MoominUnderWater be careful friend! NHS have stopped water syringing for safety and almost everywhere only offers micro suction. Must admit I loved the sensation of the water but the micro suction is much faster and cleaner. Was proper bunged up in late 23 when I had it done at Specsavers I think and am still clear now coming up to 2 years later which I’m really pleased with as apparently I have narrow ear canals so they’re just more susceptible to ear wax accumulation unfortunately.

Any idea why this post is under 'Shopping'?

Are you selling your ear wax on Ebay OP?

Maybe I should 🤣. Some pervert would buy it.

i put it in sporner corner but noticed it’s under the shopping banner on the rhs. I can only assume because I put an Amazon link and mn will have automatically turned it into an affiliate link to get money! 🤷‍♀️

I feel obliged to share this image from when my DH got miscrosuction in his ears. I’ve never been so satisfied and grossed out at the same time. Ta-da

@BippidyBoppety - I've recently developed that, I think. It's really itchy and now and again I scrape out the dead skin with a finger nail, which makes it sore. How do you treat yours, if you don't mind me asking?

Anyone else first saw the sink plug? I was thinking how the heck did you get that in your ear, lol, then I scrolled down further and saw what it was, not so impressed now (joking of course).

Isabellivi · 05/07/2025 19:49

You need to change your diet

Ask for a referral to ent. They will do micro suction. That’s what I’ve done.

Exactly this.

I have some tinnitus probably from loud concerts but mostly don’t notice it. Had fuzzy muffled hearing for weeks so tried various drops but nothing worked. Went to doctor twice he said go private earwax removal. He prescribed a pipette and little bottle of ear drops. I kept trying this pipette thing which used squirty then suction which cleared the blockage. The drops alone aren’t enough

Do you have the name of the product?

Annmarie1967 · 06/07/2025 00:34

Bicarb of soda drops and a pipette

Isabellivi · 06/07/2025 01:53

Cow dairy can cause this. So can gluten.
