Make sure you get a dermatology referral sorted OP at this GP appointment. Can't be left like that indefinitely....how are you supposed to do any practical tasks ?

The GP I'm seeing carries out minor surgery at the practice so hopefully once he's seen it he can remove it at a later date, but not too late.

Really looking forward to washing my hair without wearing a marigold glove on one hand 😆

If this is what my husband had, it's not a GPs job to take it off. They can bleed excessively and will need to have a sample sent off to histopathology.

That's going to bleed a lot when it's removed. I'm not sure it's suitable for a GP Surgery removal.

I know how horrible it is to have something fiddley like that on one's hand!

Looks like a granuloma, I had one on my finger, it was removed in hospital (day case) It wasn’t serious it was just a nuisance as it kept growing and started to smell. I had a newborn at the time so it was hard doing his bottles/bathing him etc as it bled when knocked ( I kept plasters on it as it was vile and slimy!)

I was morbidly fascinated by this and Googled your picture- as @Sunmoonandstarsforever said it came back as a pyogenic granuloma. Some kind of benign growth. Hope all goes OK 😊
