I'm hoping to get some advice here on how to tackle this horrific spot I have.

It is huge, no head and on MY ARSE. I'm I'm absolute agony
I can't sit down
I can't walk properly.

It really really hurts. I've tried squeezing but it hasn't helped. It is just solid with no head.
It is honestly making me want to cry.

Any pro tips?

A hot compress might help draw it out?

Gingernaut · 29/04/2020 20:06

Magnesium Suphate paste from a chemist.

Gingernaut · 29/04/2020 20:07

I've had a couple of hot baths.

I don't think I could drive to the chemist is is that painful and it is too far to work
Especially waddling like a penguin.

Haha windy

It is on the least flattering part of my arse possible. I think it is why it hurts so much.

Sporner corner is usually a photo opportunity...
It was a joke.
Sorry for poking at a lack of humour poster...
Wink

Flippinfurloughed · 29/04/2020 20:13

Personally I think a photo is essential to the healing process......

In all seriousness - is there someone there that could take a look for you just to check there’s no red ring around it? If it was me I’d get drunk and stab it with something, but this is terrible real life advice and I’m far too gung ho!

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 29/04/2020 20:14

If I burst it I'll be euphoric
Photos might happen hahaha

In all seriousness, without a photo it's never going to get better Wink

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 29/04/2020 20:15

I have a cannula in my medicine cupboard and I'm beyond tempted.

OP posts:
Flippinfurloughed · 29/04/2020 20:18

If you have a cannula a video may be better

Ellenthegenerous · 29/04/2020 20:20

Igotta is absolutely right. It won't get better without a photo. Fact.

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 29/04/2020 20:21

Right
I'm braving going to Tesco.

If the drive doesnt burst it
What do I need to buy
Magnesium sulphate?

Mooey89 · 29/04/2020 20:22

Magnesium sulphate, paste. Leave overnight.
In the morning have a hot bath. Press around the area to push it out. Good luck!

feathermucker · 29/04/2020 20:22

Photo needed

Its not right at the top of your are crack is it, excuse my French!

Mooey89 · 29/04/2020 20:24

Get some saline solution to clean it after.

Dontfuckingsaycheese · 29/04/2020 20:24

Do you wax?? I used to get some right hum-dingers when I used to be waxed because of ingrowing hairs. Never get them now. I once had one, not quite as far back, it was huge. I was just showing it to my mum - she loves things like that - and it obligingly popped in front of her. Like a silent little volcano. Twas fab!!

DumpedByText · 29/04/2020 20:27

I know this is TMI but is it in the crack of your bum at the very top? If it is it could be a Pilonidal cyst which is agony and may require draining.

My boyfriend had one last week and had to have a small op, he's OK now. He was literally rolling in pain. 😳

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 29/04/2020 20:28

No it isn't right at the top
It is more arsehole level Confused
And the cheek it is on brushes the other cheek when I move

Horrific.

weasle · 29/04/2020 20:31

If you can't sit down then you probably need to see a doctor as it might need draining. It might be a pilonidal or perianal abscess. If you can hang on overnight go to A&E as early as you can tomorrow. Don't have breakfast (just water) in case.

weasle · 29/04/2020 20:32

Cross post. Sounds like perianal abscess. Go to A&E tomorrow morning.
