He won't let me. He's waiting for it to go by itself. I'm going to have to follow him around staring at it. Or poke it in the night.

How quickly did this appear?

Just that my DH had one looking very similar in about the same area and it turned out to be a lipoma. Nothing poppable, but he had to have it removed (cut out) under local anaesthetic.

And it grew back. And had to be cut out again.
Very disappointing

It started life as a small bump!

I feel your pain. DH has one ear blocked with a massive bung of wax and won't even let me look at it. He just calls me an eardo (ear weirdo) and sidles off.

DH's started as a small bump, but it took quite a while to grow.

Because it was behind his ear he could "hear" the operation. All the squelching made him go a bit funny

Oooh, hopefully it's an ingrown hair. I got one on my scalp last year, it took a few weeks before it was "ready" but when it was, it didn't disappoint. I got a load of gunk and a full grown head hair about 9 inches long! Good times...
