What's the best way to use suncream/ a decent spf under make up without looking greasy or messing up foundation?

Hi @Ginandbing! A great question here which undoubtedly can be a challenge. My top recommendation would be to use a thin consistency SPF (luckily lots of brands offer these now), leave it for as long as you can before applying foundation, and then afterwards set everything in with a touch of powder. I find that my laughter lines look slightly more oily when I've used all of these layers, and a simple touch of powder can make a huge difference to calming everything down somewhat. Our Bye Bye Pores powder would be perfect for this. We make it with silk instead of talc, so it doesn't look dry or cakey, but it will take the edge off any excess shine.

I sweat terribly on my face due to anxiety. What make up, if any would you recommend that isn’t going to look a mess as soon as I start to sweat?

Hi @PilgorTheGoat, thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear about this. You aren't alone, so many people experience the same thing. I would recommend two things here. First of all, if you like to wear makeup on your complexion, opt for waterproof formulas. Our Bye Bye Undereye concealer, for example, is designed to be completely waterproof and you can use it all over your face. Then, for the sweating, if you can discreetly do so, try to tissue or sponge away the majority of the sweat before you do anything else, and then press a tiny bit of translucent powder into the laughter lines of the face. Removing the glow from natural folds of the face alleviates the sweaty look - dewiness anywhere else simply looks like a healthy glow! Our Bye Bye Pores powder would be great for that. You might find it helpful to get some small little powder puffs for your handbag (lots of places make tiny ones now) and then you can gently dab away any sweat without it leaving bits of tissue on your face.

Despite using different products I am experiencing piling from my serum and moisturiser..can you help?
I do exfoliation once or twice a week also.

Hi @Ellebelli. This is a really common problem and it has a very simple solution! Have you ever been onto the website incidecoder.com? It's a website that tells you all about your ingredients in your skincare. To give a really brief summary, your foundation and skincare will likely be either water based or oil based. If these steps have different bases, they'll clash with each other and cause the pilling. If you make sure that all of your steps have a similar base, they'll work in harmony together. Have a little look, and it might be a case that you just rearrange the things that you pair together to prevent this from happening in the future.

Hi @Beabeautiful - I totally hear you, there is so much to take in from the beauty world at the moment! I'm going to keep things simple and recommend a few steps you might like based on the things you've mentioned here. For both the uneven skin tone and the fine lines, you might like to add a retinol to your routine. Retinol is an ingredient that encourages your cells to turn over a bit more quickly, and as a result you often notice a reduction in pigmentation and dark spots, and also a reduced appearance of fine lines as it has quite a plumping impact. Our retinol is a nightly moisturiser that you use once a day, very comfortable to use even for a beginner, and you'll need to use an SPF every day if you start to use that. Outside of this, a simple cleanser morning and night would be great to use, and also a simple moisturiser like Confidence in a Cream every morning. As for the cheekbones, take a look at our Bye Bye Pores blushers. These use the same technology as the powder you've mentioned, but will give your skin a lovely rosy glow along the way and bring out those cheeks!

Thank you - I will be using retinol based products more often and looking out for these in my creams
