Thanks for this opportunity. I use IT cosmetics cc cream to even out my skin tone and redness however it jarrs with my red upper chest/lower neck. I don't want to bring the cream all the way down as it can stain clothes.

Whats the real difference between a home bargains retinol based face cream at a couple of pounds and an Elemis retinol based cream at £90 - is it worth paying for a premiere cream - and if not why not ?

Purplecatshopaholic · 31/03/2024 19:24

I need to buy concealer online as no stores near me. How do I decide what shade?

Ilostmyhalo · 01/04/2024 11:03

I'd love to be able to do the 'flick' eyeliner to give be the cat eye look - but they always end up odd - one is higher/thicker/longer than the other side - how do I get this glamorous look ?

Chocolateismylovelife · 01/04/2024 18:04

I have oily skin with some flaky patches. I also have large pores and bumps and acne scarring, so have avoided foundation for many years as I found it to enhance my flaws rather than disguise.

Is there a foundation or make up I can use which will disguise my issues?

youareonlyhereonce · 01/04/2024 19:13

What would you say are your make up essentials for my new make up bag ? I want to start anew with good products for a more confident look.

prawncocktailcrispss · 02/04/2024 08:49

My eyebrows are really overplucked from my youth - what would you recommend for making them thicker - which looks natural ?

itsywitsy · 02/04/2024 10:10

I love the CC nude glow, but use a make up sponge to apply as I felt that a brush seemed to remove a lot of the cream - I put the recommended amount on - should I persevere with the brush for best results - or is a sponge adequate ? thanks

JacCharlton · 02/04/2024 11:29

How should I use my dark spots concealer - before or after foundation - and how should I cleanse and tone at before bed to keep my skin looking good for the next day ?

Beabeautiful · 02/04/2024 15:28

Glycolic Acid ? Hyaluronic Acid - so many products with so many uses - I have never ever heard of a translucent powder designed to help instantly erase the appearance of pores. I would really love to use products which help me with uneven skin tones - so my Q would be, which of the products would I need from the myriad available - early 50's fine lines, and some deep wrinkles, and I'd like some cheekbones - which are your top recommended products for help.

Toomuchgoingon79 · 02/04/2024 15:33

I suffer with really greasy skin and outbreaks. What do you suggest as a wash and moisturiser? How often should I exfoliate? Which foundation is best?

GinandBing · 02/04/2024 17:46

What's the best way to use suncream/ a decent spf under make up without looking greasy or messing up foundation?

Doesabear · 02/04/2024 17:52

What would you recommend for broken capillaries on cheeks? Nothing I've tried seems to cover them.

PilgorTheGoat · 02/04/2024 23:25

I sweat terribly on my face due to anxiety. What make up, if any would you recommend that isn’t going to look a mess as soon as I start to sweat?

suburburban · 02/04/2024 23:26

How can I update my eye make up so it flatters me now that I am over 50.

FlakyPanda · 03/04/2024 11:41

Hi Rose,
I have dry, oily and sensitive skin as well as monthly chin acne flare ups which I understand is hormone related. I’ve tried a lot of products in the past. Do you (1) have any recommendations for products/ strategies that really work for this combination skin and cystic chin acne and (2) any makeup tips for covering the break outs (big red bumps surrounded by dry sensitive skin).
Thank you

DinkyDaffodil · 03/04/2024 12:24

How would you start using a foundation at work - so that you don't look too different from your usual self ? I want to have a more smooth complexion but am worried if I start to use a foundation I would look different and noticeable (there goes my inner saboteur)

TonsleyB · 03/04/2024 12:53

As I get older I find myself wanting to wear less obvious make up - what is your recommendation of a light foundation and are there any which contains spf?

ellebelli · 04/04/2024 10:19

Despite using different products I am experiencing piling from my serum and moisturiser..can you help?
I do exfoliation once or twice a week also.

expatbaby · 05/04/2024 16:18

I have a lot of redness on and around my nose, may be roseacea. I also suffer from dry skin with bigger pores in the same area so any make up I've used to cover can easily look very caked even with primer. I see a lot of brands claiming good coverage online but would prefer a recommendation of something with good coverage, not too heavy and stays in place without caking. What do you suggest?

Asuwere · 05/04/2024 16:19

When ordering online, what's the best way of choosing the right shade?

Cactusali · 06/04/2024 10:48

I have very pale, freckled skin with an oily t-zone. I know I should wear high-factor sun protection but every one I’ve tried (and there are legions) have left a yellow cast so I look jaundiced. I wouldn’t object to a white cast! Any recommendations? Thank you.

BringBackSunshine · 06/04/2024 14:08

I’m menopausal and suffer from hot flushes. What make up techniques would help so that make up doesn’t slide off my face?

Goddessonahighway · 06/04/2024 14:42

I had a wedding make up tutorial with a Bobbi Brown concession about 15 years ago and have been doing a simplified version of this ever since: under eye concealer, foundation, blusher, eye brow pencil, brown eye liner, black/brown mascara, pinky lip crayon. How can I update this without it getting complicated? Many thanks!

ghostyslovesheets · 06/04/2024 18:03

I hate the feeling of foundation on my skin - I sometimes wear tinted moisturiser on a night out but generally just moisturise day to day. I am 53 and wondered what I could use to just brighten up my skin ?
