NOW CLOSED

With technology now a huge part of our lives, it’s important to know how to stay safe online. We are looking for 20 Mumsnetters with a child aged 13-18 to attend At Home With Instagram, an event to discuss parenting in the digital age.

Instagram has recently launched new resources for parents, grandparents, and guardians, and will use this event to bring together some of the inspirational young people using social media for good, open up discussions about parenting in the digital age, and provide practical tips about managing your time, privacy, and interactions on Instagram.

More information about the event:

  • The event will take place on Monday 10th December 10am-2pm in Central London
  • This event is for Mumsnetters only but if you have young children you can bring them with you
  • All attendees will receive a £30 voucher of their choice (from a list) for attending and will also get a goody bag at the event
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided
  • The event will comprise of panel discussions and Q&As as well as an interactive exhibition
  • Speakers at the event include Claudia Winkleman, Justine Roberts our CEO, and lifestyle and parenting influencer @ inpolife

Everyone who attends At Home With Instagram will be required to give feedback on the event on a thread on Mumsnet. Everyone who leaves their feedback as required will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three £100 voucher of their choice (from a list).

If you are interested in taking part please sign up here.

@BitOutOfPractice apologies we are having some problems with spammers on site at the moment.

The event is for Mumsnetters only, however, if you have young children that you'd need to bring along you can do. The event is aimed at parents of teens rather than teenagers themselves.
