Summer is finally here and that means barbecues, alfresco breakfasts and picnics in the sun. Whether it’s delicious brioche burgers or a pasta salad to feed the five thousand, we want to know your favourite summer meal that's a crowd pleaser with the whole family.

"Jarda" is a Moroccan Garden salad - which is light and refreshing and looks fantastic on the table.
Summer favourite foe the family and gatherings and goes fantastic with a BBQ.
Each section is seasoned and has a different dreasing / vinaigrette. The middle is rice with Tuna / Chicken / Plain.

Easiest, laziest and most delicious summer lunch is a plate of air dried ham and cantaloupe melon with a balsamic vinegar glaze, served with good bread.

Our family favorite is southern fried chicken and pasta salad with veg on the side.. My kids love loads of veg with everything

Bbq sausages and chicken breasts with corn on the cob and lots of salad.

Followed by barbecue bananas with cinnamon for afters.

Roasted vegetables . Cut up peppers mixed, mushrooms and tomato pieces and chunks of red onion - thread on skewer. wipe over with olive oil Perfect healthy addition to bbq. Perfect meal with cous cous.

Teriyaki salmon. Side of salmon marinaded in a homemade Teriyaki sauce (soy sauce - I’m Coeliac so use gf tamari - big blob of honey, thumb of fresh grated ginger, pinch of chilli flakes, a drop of sesame oil). I marinade in foil and transfer the foil parcel to the oven (cook for 30 mins or so).

Serve with rice, salad or pak choi and noodles. Brilliant for a prep-ahead meal for when you have summer guests.

My homemade paella is my go to dish in the summer… nice as a side to a BBQ, or as a main with salads… always gets compliments.

Leg of lamb with turmeric, lemon and a little water left to steam on the hob, with sliced potatoes added at the end. Cover the tray with tin foil to create steam.

You can’t beat a good old fashioned trifle

Homemade coleslaw and my version of a Greek salad which is basically cous cous, feta, roasted veg with mint sauce from the jar!

Really fresh tasting and one of DS(16)'s favourites. Quick to make and great for using up leftover chicken.

Pizza and chips lol. But we have to make the triple cooked chips and the kids help us make the pizza! Its one way of getting veg into them!
For a BBQ we love making Cypriot Sheftalies! They are amazing! Add to that a cake or two made by the kids and we're happy as larry! x

Has to be shredded roast chicken, grated carrot, egg noodles and sweet chilli sauce always a winner! 🤤

Homemade 2 ingredient pizzas, with any toppings we can lay our hands on, stuck in the pizza oven, yum!

Seafood paella is definitely a fave here. Change it up with different seafood each time, pinch of saffron and served with lemon. Side of homemade paprika chips with paprika and lemon Mayo 😋

Sausage spiral salad!
Cold cooked pasta, cold cooked sausages chopped, fry some onions, add sweetcorn and cooked peas. Stir well, add mayo and salad cream.
So easy, filling and easy to transport.
