With lockdown rules still in place, we have turned our homes and gardens into a playground to help our children stay active by playing inside. With many of us juggling work and keeping children active, we know that finding fun ways to entertain your children and channel their energy in creative play can be a challenge.
That’s why Nike, in partnership with ukactive Kids, has launched the Move Crew - daily activity missions, designed to help kids unlock their 60 minutes of daily recommended activity.

Here’s what Nike says:
'Move Crew is a daily programme developed with the expertise of teachers and physical activity specialists, elite athletes, kids and coaches. Each day delivers a new mission, designed to get kids aged 7-12 on their feet. Across 8-weeks, each Monday, a Nike athlete announces a weekly theme at ukactive.com/movecrew, and every morning, the new Mission is released. One of our athletes Dina Asher-Smith, the fastest British woman in recorded history said: “As an athlete, mixing it up and giving myself daily challenges is the best way to stay motivated. I’m so excited to have got to work with ukactive and Nike to inspire young boys and girls to keep moving at home.'

With that in mind, we want to find out more about the ways you and your children are staying active. How are you and your children staying active at home? Do your children have favourite activities? Perhaps you and your family have invented games to keep active? What do you miss most about playing outside with more freedom? What are the biggest challenges you face when trying to find fun or educational activities for your children?

From indoor fort building to garden relay, share your stories of keeping your children and family active during the lockdown on the thread below and you will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £200 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list), provided by Mumsnet.

Thanks and good luck,

We've been going for walks, and out on the bikes, as I cannot drive, but also spending a lot of time in the garden, be it on the trampoline, gardening, in the pool. Trying to make it fun!

Me and my son had fun building forts for movie nights in the film fort!!
Always a way to get them involved with more stuff being active, doing little circuits round the house, and getting chores involved too!!

The obligatory Joe Wicks workout, walking every day, some throwing and catching and also archery with my daughters bow and arrows which we have all loved and has made us laugh as i am so rubbish!

We did Joe Wick's PE classes everyday which really boosted our mood and energy. Now it's lots of walks with themes - finding things beginning with the letter L or 5 different types of wood...keeps the kids (and me) amused.
