Finding the time to look good and keep your wardrobe fresh can be tricky at the best of times, never mind when you’ve got your hands full with the various obstacles that life throws at you. Whether you’re trawling the high street or searching online, acquiring the right outfit for the right occasion can be a mission - and not always a successful one at that. With that in mind, Stitch Fix want to hear your tips and tricks for staying stylish when you’re pressured for time.

Here’s what Stitch Fix have to say:
"Stitch Fix takes the hard work out of shopping so that you can get back to what really matters, without sacrificing on style. After filling in a short online questionnaire, a Stylist hand-selects, just for you, pieces from the best established and emerging European brands. The selection is delivered straight to your door. Keep what works, return what doesn’t, simple as that!”

Do you have certain accessories you use to freshen up an outfit and make it look ‘new’? Or do you make a dash for the shops when you have a couple of hours free and hope for the best? Maybe you have a few key friends or relatives you can borrow clothes from at times of great need?

However you manage to stay stylish with limited time, post on the thread below and everyone who does will be entered into a prize draw where 1 MNer will win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

Never underestimate the power of a scarf with matching shoes and bags. Makes any outfit look striking.

I never spend much money on clothing, and visit shops at, shall we say, the lower end of the market. But my husband always says I look smart. And, for that special occasion, there are always the charity shops!

I try to keep my hair looking good at all times in an easy-to-keep style. It's true what they say ... if your hair looks good, you feel good! I also have a few key items of clothing which all match, which takes the guess-work/time out of finding outfits for specific occasions.

I always think you can't go wrong with jeans and a white t-shirt with accessories if not got a lot of time! Always looks stylish.

A few staples in my wardrobe save the day. Obviously nothing white anymore.

It's got to be Dr Martens boots. Eternally stylish and so comfortable.

Leave out the outfit you're wearing the night before as it saves so much time. Adding different accessories to your outfit will always freshen it up!

I pretty much stick to a uniform of jeans and shirts. If I want to dress it up I swap the trainers for boots and add a blazer and scarf!

I buy bargains if I see them, including £2 shoes and £3 dresses... so when the occasion comes up, such an office Xmas party or a wedding I have a brand new outfit for a £10. I would then just my hair done, as I would have the money then, as I would not need to buy any last minute clothes.
My favourite retailers are Next, and you can pick up lots of bargains in their clearance section or Warehouse or M&S, during their end of season sale, 70% off or more.

I go for a sleek black jumpsuit, an easy French braid and make it all about the accessories!

I like to wear a jumpsuit, hides my mum yum and still is summery. If I’m feeling especially good, I’ll straighten my hair instead of the usual bun!

Have at least one outfit that is flattering, suitable for most occasions and doesn't need ironing. In a hurry all you then need to worry about is shoes, accessories and make up (which can be done on the go if needed - ie on public transport NOT whilst driving)!

Scarves can change an outfit, soft silk glams something up and cotton just for a change. If you have friends who wear hijab ask them where they shop.

When I know I'm having a busy time I have been known to put complete outfits on coathangers, saoo get up, shower pick the coat hanger with everything on.

I think black leggings are brilliant. They can be dressed up with heels and a fabulous top or down with trainers and a tee shirt....very versatile!

I just wear what I feel comfortable in and don't try to get to worked up about how I look.

making a few staple outfits that you can easily throw on, and then just accessorize depending on the occasion. For example, a black vest and pants can be work-appropriate with tasteful jewelry, but it can also be turned into a edgy party piece with an open blouse, and a pair of killer heels. 😀👚👗
