My resolution is to take more time out for myself, by reading at least 24 books over the year. I'm going to keep track by doing the reading challenge on GoodReads and looking at my friend's books on there for inspiration! Happy New Year everyone!

LeeR1985 · 13/01/2019 10:36

My goal is to eat better. I joined slimming world last week as my brother has lost 3.6 stone on the plan and my mum has lost 2 stone so I know it works.

WarmHugs · 13/01/2019 10:38

Every year I take many, many photos of my DC. But I’m always behind the camera. Losing my Mum made me sad for all the photos we don’t have together.

So this year my resolution is to be in more family photos. Whether I look a bit fat, haven’t done my hair or I’ve got a dodgy looking stain on my top.

The DC won’t mind what I look like, and will hopefully have some fantastic photos to look back on.

shellywkd · 13/01/2019 10:39

I need to lose a couple of stone. So I am going to eat healthier and do more dog walking and aerobics to reach my goal.

kimthomasandaimee · 13/01/2019 10:50

My resolution is to finally get out of debt or at least get it down to a level where it no longer feels overwhelming. I am cutting down on all unnecessary spending and doing as much overtime at work as I can. All extra money at the end of each month is going towards paying off debt.

glenka · 13/01/2019 10:58

i want to try and use a lot less single use plastic this year and to waste less food by batch cooking whenever possible.

amyhalliday1 · 13/01/2019 11:01

My goal is to be more patient and try and do more outdoor stuff c

Blainalass · 13/01/2019 11:04

I have a list - exercise, weight loss, healthier diet, write a song.

jennie1984j · 13/01/2019 11:09

My goal is to be more positive and organised so I can maximise the time I spend with my family. I am going to acheive this by not taking too much on and be realistic with my work load

tamalyn1 · 13/01/2019 11:45

i am going to be trying something new and fun at least once a week, last week i cleaned like marie kondo and decluttered my clothes, this week ia m painting my pine nest of tables white. i have a huge bucket list of stuff to try that i have never had time to do before or even brave enough to try lol

beckyinman · 13/01/2019 11:45

Clear my debts and lose two stone. I'm going to do this by being more organised with meals (take packed lunches and batch cook) and then creating a budget to clear my credit card

iut044 · 13/01/2019 12:15

To try and be more patient with people

bevmichelle47 · 13/01/2019 12:17

Get out more in the fresh air with the family, we spend to much time indoors these days! We would be more healthier in body and mind on brisks walks.

Sparklepants3 · 13/01/2019 12:17

Just by taking care of myself more. Taking more time to take care of myself instead of others. I don't mean it selfishly. Just make sure I get time to enjoy life and make the most of my time.

pigglepaggle · 13/01/2019 12:18

Eat healthy. That means meal planning and cutting out snacks and trying to find alternatives when you are a bit peckish.

mutleythegooner · 13/01/2019 12:19

I'm getting healthy in the new year which means diet and exercise and its all planned out in charts and spreadsheets that I have printed using HP products!

ninamotylinski · 13/01/2019 12:21

I want to get all round healthier in mind, body and spirit. The last couple of years I have been existing on a high wire of stress and exhaustion and just scraping by rather than putting the work in to help myself. This year I want to actually learn to unwind myself with meditation, getting to bed at a reasonable time, making time for a daily walk rather than making excuses that I'm too tired or busy. I just want to feel whole and well.

footdust · 13/01/2019 12:30

To adopt a more sensible approach to healthy eating.

Emmax12 · 13/01/2019 12:36

I have lots of little goals.
Reduce the amount of plastic I use.
Meal plan to save money and time, and also reduce waste.
And spend more quality family time together.

kateloader · 13/01/2019 12:37

I have a big birthday later this year so my goal is to be the fittest I've ever been - I want to exercise a bit more and to eat a lot better!

MissMacaron · 13/01/2019 12:40

We’ve got a spreadsheet of jobs (DH loves a spreadsheet!) to do around the house that we’ve agreed to tackle in the first six months of the year. Also, I’m training to be a yoga instructor so I’d like to get that completed this year too.

tabbaz123 · 13/01/2019 12:48

In 2018 my goal was all about fitness and so this year it is to up my game and push my limits even further as I want to run a Marathon....However, on top of that my goal is to travel a bit more but I am struggling with caring for my elderly parents and life is a huge juggling act at the moment so really not sure how I am going to achieve my goal

mrpeterhall · 13/01/2019 12:52

To use my time more creatively......and to enjoy that which I've already acjieved

MPD1986 · 13/01/2019 12:53

I've set myself a challenge to learn French language.

lizd31 · 13/01/2019 13:04

I'm entering cash competitions in the hope of winning enough money to enable me to accept the two book deals I've been offered but I have to pay my illustrator up front for one & I have no cash whatsoever & the other one requires me to pay 50% of the publishing costs
