To take a little time out for myself each day to sit and read. I really miss reading a good book and think it helps me to unwind.

More recycling, at the moment we do quite a bit but could improve, plastic is a big issue. Will try to cut down on what I buy that has plastic wrapping and be more aware of the environment.

I'm planning to get into running. I have started taking part in our local park 5k run every Saturday which is a great motivation. My plan is to do two 5k runs a week with the aim of taking part in a 10k later in the year. Fingers crossed!!

jamiethepaper · 13/01/2019 13:56

run 3 miles in 23 minutes by telling everyone who will listen, that I will do it. And running the same 3 mile route 3 times a week, steadily getting faster.

Sbaynham · 13/01/2019 13:57

My goal is to find a new job after 11 years doing the same thing and start a new challenge Smile

Elizasmum02 · 13/01/2019 14:01

my goal is to stress less and smile more, ill achieve them by remembering tomorrow is nother day, tears cant turn back the clock what happens, happens

mooota1514 · 13/01/2019 14:20

Cliche but I want to loose weight. I'm going to walk the 3 mile round trip into town with DS instead of driving and try to eat better.

christinelucey · 13/01/2019 14:26

My goal is to try and stop stressing over things out of my control.

katieskatie82 · 13/01/2019 14:28

my goal is to lose some weight and get fitter and healthier. I've just registered to walk 1000 miles in 1 year with a walking magazine. I'll be trying my best to get my 10,000 steps everyday and to drink plenty of water! x

gd2011 · 13/01/2019 14:50

To get fitter by starting to use my bike again

jessiecat333 · 13/01/2019 14:52

I m hoping to take some time out for myself instead of running around after others. I need to look after my health more and also encourage my son to watch his weight so i will be heavily involved in this with meal prep

EmNix · 13/01/2019 15:05

To learn to relax more and not be stressed all the time
Following relaxtion techniques, joined a gym, reorganising my schedule to free up time for me to do a realxing hobby or two
thats the aim anyway!

Abominus · 13/01/2019 15:14

I'm going to try and be more proactive this year. I spend way too much time procrastinating. I'd also like to get rid of some of the clutter in my house, way too much stuff that i no longer have a use for in the cupboards and wardrobes. I've set myself a target of chucking at least one decent sized thing per week.

iamsaranna · 13/01/2019 15:16

Mine is to improve my photography and videography so I capture specail moments with my family forever.

sophiefx · 13/01/2019 15:21

I don't make resolutions anymore as I have children and it's hard to keep track.

DassDass · 13/01/2019 15:22

One of my many new year resolutions is to be kinder to myself - and one of my aims is to spend less time worrying about housework.
Printing off a chart of what needs doing every week might encourage the family to help me more if they see how much i'm trying to get done all the time!!

holey · 13/01/2019 15:28

Mine's about organisation. Decluttering is part of that but not the essence of it. I find that I forget things when I am busy. I've realised that planning out what needs to be done in a good, old fashioned diary keeps me focused, motivated, organised and productive. Once it's written down, if it doesn't get done, it bugs me until I do it! It's working so far.

juju3 · 13/01/2019 15:28

get back to full health and declutter my life - need to change my mindset and that will be very hard. Have to try and stay focused

andywedge · 13/01/2019 15:41

Losing my spare tyre - swimming

glennamy · 13/01/2019 15:43

For me it is to be less stressed, I hope to be able to take time out and try not to let things get me so stressed in all areas of my life! ;)

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 13/01/2019 15:45

More me time and less time on the computer. More reading, more creative writing, more pottering in the kitchen.
More money would be good!
One of my teaching resolutions is fewer handouts- perhaps I shouldn't mention that on this thread given who the sponsor is!

sallyhartley · 13/01/2019 15:46

My goal is to start an exercise class maybe Zumba. Also to try and make more time for a little meditation. I need to decide stress

GooodMythicalMorning · 13/01/2019 15:50

Im about to start making a vision board for 2019 as I have lots of goals, specifically family orientated and job. I find if I get it down on paper it gives me a goal and I'm more likely to do it than if I don't.

I have recently started learning bsl so I'm hoping to continue to learn and improve at it as I think it will be a very useful skill to have.

bryonywilson91 · 13/01/2019 15:57

Sort out our finances! We've done this by creating a spreadsheet and making a 'fun' budget rather than spending whatever we like on going out/shopping etc

star1000 · 13/01/2019 16:03

I'm going to get fit with my children. We've already started walking to more places, like our local supermarket, post office instead of driving and every couple of days we've been doing a slow jog around the block!
