My goal is to reevaluate the time I spend between working and family. The balance needs adjustment so that I feel I spend more quality time with my children. This has to be done without the quality of my work diminishing so it needs some careful thought.

AnimalAddict · 13/01/2019 08:33

My goal is to be more positive and to read more books this year! :)

HopeGarden · 13/01/2019 08:51

Currently my top goal is to declutter the house.

We need to be more organised as a family, in a number of areas, and all the clutter is getting in the way.

mollymoo818 · 13/01/2019 08:59

Mine is quite a common one. I am going to up my fitness levels. I am starting out with smallish goals such as achieving 10,000 steps a day and to take a fitness class at least once a week and then upping this throughout the year until I can run a half marathon later on in the year. Fingers crossed anyway.

More family time ... we've each made a little bucket list for 2019 of things we'd like to do ... from baking a cake to visiting Legoland is on my ds(8) list :)

sezz35 · 13/01/2019 09:06

My NYR is to eat more cake, do more things I want to do, not worry about the small stuff and generally enjoy my life. By the way I already use HP Instant Ink.

TwoGinScentedTears · 13/01/2019 09:08

We have a couple of goals-weirdly one is to print and sort our digital photos. So this is brilliant-didn't know anything like this existed. Off to investigate further!

Planning to do yoga every day. I’ve been doing a class for about a year but want to get into the habit of doing every day. I’ve started with signing up to 30 days of yoga with Adriene

muppet1501 · 13/01/2019 09:17

I am wanting to sort my finances out and i'm tackling them at full force. Cut back on treats etc and prioritise what is important. This will also have an impact on me wanting to lose timber aswell

Emmsd5588 · 13/01/2019 09:20

My goal is to be more organised and save money for our holiday
I will be doing this by planning meals in and only buying what I actually need

renas · 13/01/2019 09:20

My goal is to get fitter and get healthier

kerryv · 13/01/2019 09:37

Save more money and finally get our extension

janeyf1 · 13/01/2019 09:38

My goal is to be more outgoing, make more effort to socialise and not let nerves get the better of me this year

richlauren2011 · 13/01/2019 09:38

I want to get fitter, so we have planned to go out walking in the fields and playing more. We are going to go out every weekend as exercise

Lindseymorris29 · 13/01/2019 09:38

To try and find a job that fits in with my family. I had to give up my previous job, in order to look after my children. So my career is currently on hold, let's see what 2019 brings....

chloe282 · 13/01/2019 09:39

I've started meeting with a support worker in the eating disorders team so I can set goals & targets to recover from a 4 year battle with anorexia. We will be trying meals out, visiting the supermarkets, trying new activities.

Ganne1 · 13/01/2019 09:46

We don't do resolutions, as they're rarely kept. But we do plan all our meals before we shop, and usually stick to the plan. Also, we're very good at to-do lists.

AR2012 · 13/01/2019 09:50

Training a new subject area. There's courses i'm set to attend and certify under.

ilkeybaby · 13/01/2019 09:53

Mine is to start saving more

crystalfire · 13/01/2019 09:55

i'd really like to get out of my overdraft this year! not been out of it for 4 years lol.

NatashaRB · 13/01/2019 10:01

I want to generally be a bit less lazy! I'm going to set aside time each weekend to do all my chores, and make sure I break down what I need to do into achievable bites.

happysouls · 13/01/2019 10:18

Running! The new obsession! I did couch to 5K last year and amazed myself by actually being able to do it and getting addicted! It has been a life changer! This year I'm going to get to 10km and try to get my time for 5km under 30 minutes. I'm going to gradually add some hills into my runs to increase stamina and just cautiously keep on going. I have some ankle and calf issues to contend with so have to be careful but it is fantastic!

hiddenmichelle · 13/01/2019 10:20

We are planning a "once in a lifetime" holiday" - which involves lots of planning, as we have many stops to plan as is a road trip - so new years resolution is to get everything perfect by the summer holidays!

CLINKERVISION1 · 13/01/2019 10:21

My new years resolution Is to stop worrying about things.
I had a bit of a mini breakdown last year that was made worse by my constant worrying. If you have no power over things you have to look at what is in your control xxx

maryandbuzz1 · 13/01/2019 10:25

My husband and I are joining a gym and have set a target of going at least twice a week. I have also volunteered to walk rescued dogs once a week. I am hoping that both these will help with my aim to make some new friends this year.
