NOW CLOSED

It’s no secret that kitchens house potentially dangerous items that are intriguing to a toddler set on exploring. With this in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to find out how you fare at spotting hazards in the kitchen. Take this quiz to find out and share how you get on below.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “There is nothing more special than watching your little one take their first steps or hearing them say their first words. These incredible moments will stay with us as parents forever but with them come new things to watch out for. As little explorers grow and begin discovering the world, the risks around them change, too. For Fairy Non Bio, we want to spread the word to keep your laundry detergents safely away from little hands. Click close lids, store products up high and be aware of where your child is when you are doing the washing.”

Whether you can spot hazards without thinking or need to brush up on your safety skills, share your score below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

7/7, all pretty common sense I would say!

Nacreous · 28/12/2018 22:46

5/7, agree I'd have preferred one big picture (and wider rings - the bottom of the wine glass doesn't get a point!)

DesiAP · 28/12/2018 23:38

6/7 because the screen moved as I clicked

lolly2011 · 28/12/2018 23:48

5 but there were more hazards so got distracted.

tubbyj · 29/12/2018 00:58

4/7 not bad

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 29/12/2018 01:01

6/7 because I chose the pan over the glass

Plural · 29/12/2018 01:20

7/7

user1471462428 · 29/12/2018 08:24

4/7! I’m incredibly tired but that’s when accidents happen isn’t it!!

KittenCamile · 29/12/2018 13:19

6/7 because a picked the pan instead of the wine glass. DS is just 6 months, this is a good reminder I need to start thinking about everything around him

libra101 · 29/12/2018 13:31

I scored 7/7 - safe as houses.

You can't be too careful with children (or pets) around, some of the hazards in the quiz could potentially harm either.

bringmelaughter · 29/12/2018 13:37

4/7, none wrong but my child addled brain was too slow and I kept not clicking fast enough!!

Jocelynne123 · 29/12/2018 14:11

7/7 but I think they are very obvious hazards.

Doodygirl2009 · 29/12/2018 14:57

7/7 I thought they was all common sense

Readitandsleep · 29/12/2018 15:04

6/7 but agree with pp the pan looked more dangerous than the wine to me.

charlenea · 29/12/2018 16:56

7 / 7 :)

holey · 29/12/2018 17:42

I got 5 but I blame my laptop as it didn't seem to register where I was trying to click until it was too late! That's my excuse anyway- the kids are old enough to save me from danger now at least!!

Flowerpower222 · 29/12/2018 18:00

6/7 must do better next time!

Quietvoiceplease · 29/12/2018 20:04

I got 5 as my daughter wanted to click the images but wasn't quick enough.
Honestly Grin.

Lovellama · 29/12/2018 20:15

6 for me ..
I agree re the pan and wine glass

womblelancs · 29/12/2018 20:24

I got 7/7. TBH, if you can't spot those, then you shouldn't have kids in your house!

captainshortie · 29/12/2018 21:28

7/7 :) pretty much common sense, definitely agree there was more than one hazard on some photos

mummy2pickle · 29/12/2018 21:29

7/7 - fairly simple steps to take

sheitani · 29/12/2018 22:27

I did not select your recommended answer on some photos where you had multiple hazards, e.g. photo 1 I clicked on the pan handle as I was always told having pan handles projecting over the edge of the cooker was dangerous. I'm not sure if that makes me good or bad at spotting hazards, just makes me bad at completing your quiz!

DarkDarkNight · 29/12/2018 22:58

6 out of 7.

I don’t see what’s so hazardous about a bin.

franksidebottom · 29/12/2018 23:00

6/7 I clicked the stool rather than the knife as a child climbing a stool to reach the knife is far more dangerous than a knife without a child having easy access to reach it, in some of these pictures there are more than one hazard but a good reminder to review yours and your kids kitchen safety.
