NOW CLOSED

It’s no secret that kitchens house potentially dangerous items that are intriguing to a toddler set on exploring. With this in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to find out how you fare at spotting hazards in the kitchen. Take this quiz to find out and share how you get on below.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “There is nothing more special than watching your little one take their first steps or hearing them say their first words. These incredible moments will stay with us as parents forever but with them come new things to watch out for. As little explorers grow and begin discovering the world, the risks around them change, too. For Fairy Non Bio, we want to spread the word to keep your laundry detergents safely away from little hands. Click close lids, store products up high and be aware of where your child is when you are doing the washing.”

Whether you can spot hazards without thinking or need to brush up on your safety skills, share your score below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

6 out of 7 but I think it's because my phone seemed to jam up! These are all common sense and I agree with previous posters that the Saucepan on the edge of the worktop looked more dangerous than the wine glass.

Blondie1982 · 26/12/2018 18:33

7/7

gamerwidow · 26/12/2018 18:33

6 out of 7 but best not send me your toddlers round just to be on the safe side

Nettie17 · 26/12/2018 19:41

4 out of 7

starlingsintheslipstream · 26/12/2018 19:45

7 - worked better on my phone than on my iPad. Agree most were obvious with nowhere else you could click.

5 out of 7 here ...I was too slow

mumsbe · 27/12/2018 08:51

6/7 there is always something to brush up on or learn as a parent. It's when you think your perfect you make mistakes. Thanks for the brush up accidents are easily done.

Flapdoodles · 27/12/2018 12:25

I was a bit slow and missed the first one as I was trying to work out what to do! Grin

boobybirdsworth · 27/12/2018 13:17

7/7 Good to be reminded of hazzards too

wobblywindows · 27/12/2018 13:50

7/7 for me. There were more than one hazard in most pix. In the last picture for instance - the glass (as in "broken") was far more dangerous than the wine inside it. It's a fair bet that more than half of you have a cleaning product on the floor behind the toilet - why isn't that considered a hazard ?

MissJadeA · 27/12/2018 16:53

Safe as houses..Surprisingly!

Mariobug25 · 27/12/2018 17:12

I got 7 ( on second try as I didn’t know what to do first time!)

macblank · 27/12/2018 17:33

This quiz cheats!
I spotted them all within a second of the photo loading... Loading time and position on a mobile, took away 3 seconds, and took too long to register my click on the hazard.

Plus, more than the 1 hazard on most pics.

Eg... Hot pan, hot water, grabbing handle, and flames.... Not just the flames.

Klmn · 27/12/2018 17:59

7/7 tadaaaaa!

fishnships · 27/12/2018 18:22

6/7 wasn't quick enough for one of them! But all are obvious hazards.

Tonkatol · 27/12/2018 18:22

I scored 6/7 first go and 7/7 at the second attempt. The only reason I got one wrong first time was I didn't tap high enough on the wine glass.

tabbaz123 · 27/12/2018 18:41

Another 7/7 score here - but I truthfully do not think it was really challenging....
