NOW CLOSED

It’s no secret that kitchens house potentially dangerous items that are intriguing to a toddler set on exploring. With this in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to find out how you fare at spotting hazards in the kitchen. Take this quiz to find out and share how you get on below.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “There is nothing more special than watching your little one take their first steps or hearing them say their first words. These incredible moments will stay with us as parents forever but with them come new things to watch out for. As little explorers grow and begin discovering the world, the risks around them change, too. For Fairy Non Bio, we want to spread the word to keep your laundry detergents safely away from little hands. Click close lids, store products up high and be aware of where your child is when you are doing the washing.”

Whether you can spot hazards without thinking or need to brush up on your safety skills, share your score below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

7/7, mine are older now, but still retain these habits from when they were younger! and am trying to train them to do them too now they're starting to help out in the kitchen with the cooking and washing

Shuggas · 20/12/2018 15:16

7/7 whoop Grin

Srathore · 20/12/2018 15:47

I couldn’t get it stat

merlymerly · 20/12/2018 16:45

7/7 But they’re fairly obvious hazards!

Shireslass · 20/12/2018 17:43

6- I thought the pan was also a danger as it was on the edge and looked very heavy.

Crochetcrochetcrochet · 20/12/2018 18:51

6/7, but I thought it was the saucepan in the last one, not the wine glass. Oops

CommonFishDiseases · 20/12/2018 18:57

Horrendously tired... so got 4/7 Xmas Blush ...I was too slow. My kids are actually very safe, promise!

AmandaBuffamonteezi · 20/12/2018 19:26

6/7 couldn't get to the last one in time!

ifigoup · 20/12/2018 19:30

I got all 7. They were pretty obvious.

NotSureWhoIAmToday · 20/12/2018 19:34

4/7 but more down to slowness/finickity oddly designed quiz. Recognised the dangers - just didn't like the quiz. Also like PP I clicked on things like the pan handle (as much of a risk imho as the flame)

ha2el · 20/12/2018 19:39

7/7 was my score.I tend to be hyper-sensitive to possible hazards whether there are Children or not. It can be very stressful.

foxessocks · 20/12/2018 20:19

6 but only because I looked away too long and the time ran out. That was slightly ridiculous!

elizaco · 20/12/2018 20:33

6 (too late with the first one - hadn't got the hang of the game!!)

emmmaaa26 · 20/12/2018 21:51

6 out of 7, couldn't see the oven open on that pic.

Kittyme · 20/12/2018 21:57

Scored 7/7 though I did see several hazards in some of the scenes.

biffyboom · 20/12/2018 22:17

6, BUT I did touch the glass on the 7th picture, just clumsily, so it didn't register, so then jabbed at the pan, then the glass again, but obviously not a accurately enough. Meh.

csa26 · 20/12/2018 23:10
  1. The one with the laundry, I was clicking on the open washing machine door, because my toddler would be straight inside the machine...
QueenOfPharts · 20/12/2018 23:13

6/7 in the last I thought that pan might be hot. Looked big and heavy. But clearly a nearly full glass of wine is just asking to be knocked overXmas Grin

cannotmakemymindup · 21/12/2018 00:25

I got six but it was the last picture that threw me, felt like there was three hazards -
The wine may be spilt, the pan looked close to the edge and the microwave isn't child locked.

RiSo · 21/12/2018 06:58

6/7 because I went for the pan handle in the first picture and didn't have time to reclick the flames, I thought the flames were too obvious!

YouSmellOfBeefAndCheese · 21/12/2018 07:03

I got 5/7.
I thought I would get 7/7 as everyone tells me I am too overprotective, so they must be wrong I am not!

KentUnicorn · 21/12/2018 10:28

7/7 but they pretty unmistakable! But I'll take the A grade

DassDass · 21/12/2018 11:34

6/7. as soon as I saw wine I switched off from looking for hazards completely!!

anitagreen · 21/12/2018 13:00

7/7 but surely this is all common sense

bitingcat · 21/12/2018 13:22

7/7 but I think the saucepan in the final picture was a hazard too!
