NOW CLOSED

Being chief decision-maker comes with the territory when you’re a parent - but sometimes the best way to go is not so clear cut. Take our quiz to find out how your decisions following common parenting conundrums align with those of other users’.

Here’s what O2 have to say: “#IsItAlright to let them use a tablet at breakfast? We hear you. Parenting is full of #IsItAlright questions, challenges and dilemmas. That’s why we’ve launched O2 Family, to bring advice, safety tools and kid-friendly offers to parents across the UK. We don’t pretend to have all the answers. But hopefully we make it a little easier to navigate the everyday messy magic of family life."

Whether you turn to the TV when things get tough, choose to embrace your child’s creativity no matter how questionable it may be or you find bargaining with your children the best way to get things done, take the quiz here and share any results that surprise you (or your own parenting conundrums) below.

All who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

I'm in the majority in most conundrums. I think different parenting hacks work for different families.
I always say to anyone with children aged from toddler and older to pick your battles wisely. Nobody wants to get in to an argument about a lumpy sock when you have to get one child to nursery, one to school and be in the office by 9am!

Nothing too surprising, but I am hoping that the 'have a little cry in the loo' bit is light hearted :)

SmileyShazza · 16/10/2018 09:31

Seems I'm pretty average as I either chose the first or second option. It does depend on the situation as sometimes I will be a little more lenient.

Thank goodness I'm doing ok after all Wink

I’m pretty average too, though I did answer the questions for a “good” day!

I'm totally in sync amazingly! I am a great believer in picking your battles otherwise it is just wall-to-wall nagging. If you have to switch the tv on for half an hour or make a 'cardboard' tea of fishfingers and chips once in a while to save your sanity.....don't beat yourselves up! We're all just plugging away and doing the best we can - try to have a bit of fun on the way. We all know how fast time goes and how quickly our babies grow up - enjoy the ride!

With the masses on most but love holiday activity planning (saddo) and don't YET have vegetable issues but pudding isn't commonplace either, poor DS lol
