The time has come round yet again for the Insight team at MNHQ to host our annual round up of the year, to plead for those of you not yet on our panel to sign up and to thank you all for taking part in some amazing projects this year! Xmas Smile

After 10 years at Mumsnet, I am logging off and leaving at the end of the year - will def be on the ‘other side’ and keeping an eye on the team. It’s been amazing at MNHQ - seeing the site grow and develop and to work with a great team but time for a change for me personally.

Read on for the chance to win...

~ A Thule Urban Glide running buggy worth £435 Grin or
~ A ‘Christmas All Wrapped Up’ mixed case of wine from Virgin Wines - worth £116.87 or
~ The Marie Claire Skincare Edit from Fabled worth £79 (containing £120 worth of products - ELEMIS Pro Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30, Erborian CC Crème, Dr. Hauschka Lip Balm and Caudalie Beauty Elixir) or
~ A Sanctuary Spa hamper worth £50 or
NEW ~ A year of Soreen worth £70 (52 x £1.35 vouchers for your choice of their squidgy loaves) or
NEW ~ An "Advance Daysack" – worth £75 - from Ski Weekend - they say "a stylish and technical daypack with several compartments and branded with Ski Weekend and Advance Logos. A must have for anyone in need of transporting your kit for an active lifestyle!" Find out more about Ski Weekend (Ski Operators for 30 years, they offer a personal service tailoring Ski breaks in and around Chamonix, Mont Blanc - with a chalet which is ideal for large family and friends groups and is great for kids) here

In 2017, we have given away over £53,000 in prizes - mainly in the form of vouchers in exchange for sharing feedback, completing a short survey or for simply sharing a tip on a thread Smile.

This year we have all been thrilled to see the Mumsnet Rated badge really gaining momentum - have you seen it on products like Birds Eye frozen chicken, Arla Big Milk, Hedrin Once etc? We have also loved getting your houses sparkly with Buster, and Dettol, having some fun with Count Olaf and Netflix and scoffing trying Soreen mini loaves (they sent soooo much to MNHQ).

For a chance to win one of the above prizes, please do one of the below

a) Share on this thread what you have enjoyed taking part in this year, or appreciated reading about OR
b) Tell us on this thread what you’d like to product test next year OR
c) Join the panel - where you'll have the opportunity to share your views with MNHQ on a variety of topics and with the companies we work with and chances to win vouchers OR
d) Follow us or retweet one of our tweets over on twitter page @MumsnetInsight

  • NB if you do c or d post on this thread to let us know you’ve done it to be entered into the draws!

Most of the product tests, surveys etc are on site but we also do a lot of projects with our lovely insight research panel, as well as often giving them the heads up about the latest things and chances to win on site. If you are not yet on our panel please do sign up now. You can select how often you get emailed and you can leave at any time if it’s not for you.

Thanks as ever for your time and feedback - all very much welcome Xmas Smile

Happy Christmas! Xmas Grin

We enjoyed testing the monqi smart phone for kids this year. I love reading product tests and would love to see one done for mopping robots as that's next on my wish list.

Nannyplumssillyoldelf · 01/01/2018 08:31

I liked testing the lidl nappies and the aunt bessies roast potatoes. I would love to test a robot vacuum or a tumble dryer.

Lariflete · 01/01/2018 09:37

I've enjoyed posting on the sponsored threads and seeing what other people have been up to.

Next year I would like to be chosen for pretty much anything but particularly would like to try out anything to make cleaning easier (handheld vacuum for example).

Good luck with your next endeavour AnnMumsnet!

Cakeorchocolate · 01/01/2018 11:54

If there's any designs for a self cleaning house I'll test that Grin.
Failing that, I'd love to test a Robot Hoover and a window cleaner and a Philips sunrise simulation alarm clock please.

(I've also joined the panel now)

Raahh · 01/01/2018 12:02

Forgot to add I have joined the panel- although I think I'm already on it. I'm not sure! Grin

Jocelynne123 · 01/01/2018 16:38

I would love to test some gluten free products and see some reviews for gluten free things. My daughter can't eat gluten. I enjoyed the google home test. Although we didn't test it, from reading reviews from people who did we ended up buying one xx

truckingirl · 01/01/2018 17:31

Really enjoy reading many of the posts ....at least I don’t think...”am I the only one who thinks like this!”
Lots of interesting news #love Mumsnet

amzq87 · 01/01/2018 18:18

Joined the panel :-)

FingerlingUnderling · 01/01/2018 18:33

I would love to test cleaning products including electronic devices. Or personal organisers including apps. I would be happy to test computer based equipment or sound equipment. In addition, I would like to test products such as insulation or decorative stuff like tiles. Best of luck for the future AnnMumsnet 😊

Aftereights91 · 01/01/2018 18:57

I signed up to the panel. Robot hoover would be a good thing to test

claza93 · 01/01/2018 21:05

We loved testing the google home! Such a lot of fun .

We are happy to test anything especially food related - we get through a lot haha!

misskatamari · 01/01/2018 23:12

We enjoyed testing the Lidl pull ups this year. Saved us a few quid and they were brilliant, so double chuffed. Something I'd love to test would be a treadmill or cross trainer as it would spur me on to get back into fitness Grin

thanksamillion · 01/01/2018 23:24

I haven't been picked for much this year but next year I'd really love to test a Phillips Lumea as they sound really really helpful but are soo expensive!

TheFrenchLieutenantsMonkey · 02/01/2018 02:40

I've loved testing Google Home. Even tells you what Santa is doing Grin
I'd love to test some relaxation products. All of us need to relax and I think Mumsnet could be a great place for testers to really put relaxation items (massage chairs, mindfulness programmes, aromatherapy items, ambient lighting etc) through their paces...there are a lot of stressed out people use this site. I know. I'm one of them!

Jimbobjovi · 02/01/2018 06:55

I've signed up for the insight panel and I'd love love love to test the running buggy!

HALA · 02/01/2018 12:06

I would love to product test the Barbantia bins and kettles

amelia4levi · 02/01/2018 13:24

I most certainly would love to try A ‘Christmas All Wrapped Up’ mixed case of wine from Virgin Wines - worth £116.87 LOL.... its been a hard christmas hehehe

pinkjjf27 · 02/01/2018 15:01

I suffer from skin conditions so would love to test or read about non steroid treatments that actually work. to save me wasting a lot of money

Dermymc · 02/01/2018 15:12

I've joined the panel.

I've enjoyed testing the hipp baby food this year, I'll pretty much try anything!

FizzySmiles · 02/01/2018 15:31

I'd love to love to product test some natural products for children like burts bee products.

Vitamins or food ranges that are good for mums who need more energy 😂

Essential oils to go in humidifiers to see what effects they give. We have just bought a humidifier with olbas oil.

sealight123 · 02/01/2018 19:36

a) Share on this thread what you have enjoyed taking part in this year, or appreciated reading about
I have really enjoyed reading all of the reviews this year, especially the ones about people's family experiences. It makes me feel a bit more that my family is normal too :)

b) Tell us on this thread what you’d like to product test next year
I'd like to see more reviews of places and events. I find that they are the hardest to get honest reviews for them.

c) Join the panel - where you'll have the opportunity to share your views with MNHQ on a variety of topics and with the companies we work with and chances to win vouchers
All joined up! :)

d) Follow us or retweet one of our tweets over on twitter page @MumsnetInsight**
All twittered up! :)

chocolateshoes · 02/01/2018 20:24

I haven't been lucky enough to test anything this year, but would really like to test a cordless vacuum as my Henry is driving me to despair! DS would like me to test a gaming computer ( ha ha) , and DH would probably say some kind of speaker bar thing for the TV.

InvisibleToEveryone · 03/01/2018 12:34

I'm not very good at Twitter!
But I've followed @mumsnetinsight and retweeted i think!

Product testing, yes to whoever said a Phillips lumea, I keep! thinking about getting one, but the price if it doesn't work...Confused

Cheekyandfreaky · 03/01/2018 14:02

Would love to test co-wash products and dry shampoos. Since falling pregnant and then having babies, I have no time to do my hair and also the condition of my hair has changed- probably a lot of us on here have those issues.

Stickystickstick · 03/01/2018 16:01

I’d love to test a family holiday abroad!
