The time has come round yet again for the Insight team at MNHQ to host our annual round up of the year, to plead for those of you not yet on our panel to sign up and to thank you all for taking part in some amazing projects this year! Xmas Smile

After 10 years at Mumsnet, I am logging off and leaving at the end of the year - will def be on the ‘other side’ and keeping an eye on the team. It’s been amazing at MNHQ - seeing the site grow and develop and to work with a great team but time for a change for me personally.

Read on for the chance to win...

~ A Thule Urban Glide running buggy worth £435 Grin or
~ A ‘Christmas All Wrapped Up’ mixed case of wine from Virgin Wines - worth £116.87 or
~ The Marie Claire Skincare Edit from Fabled worth £79 (containing £120 worth of products - ELEMIS Pro Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30, Erborian CC Crème, Dr. Hauschka Lip Balm and Caudalie Beauty Elixir) or
~ A Sanctuary Spa hamper worth £50 or
NEW ~ A year of Soreen worth £70 (52 x £1.35 vouchers for your choice of their squidgy loaves) or
NEW ~ An "Advance Daysack" – worth £75 - from Ski Weekend - they say "a stylish and technical daypack with several compartments and branded with Ski Weekend and Advance Logos. A must have for anyone in need of transporting your kit for an active lifestyle!" Find out more about Ski Weekend (Ski Operators for 30 years, they offer a personal service tailoring Ski breaks in and around Chamonix, Mont Blanc - with a chalet which is ideal for large family and friends groups and is great for kids) here

In 2017, we have given away over £53,000 in prizes - mainly in the form of vouchers in exchange for sharing feedback, completing a short survey or for simply sharing a tip on a thread Smile.

This year we have all been thrilled to see the Mumsnet Rated badge really gaining momentum - have you seen it on products like Birds Eye frozen chicken, Arla Big Milk, Hedrin Once etc? We have also loved getting your houses sparkly with Buster, and Dettol, having some fun with Count Olaf and Netflix and scoffing trying Soreen mini loaves (they sent soooo much to MNHQ).

For a chance to win one of the above prizes, please do one of the below

a) Share on this thread what you have enjoyed taking part in this year, or appreciated reading about OR
b) Tell us on this thread what you’d like to product test next year OR
c) Join the panel - where you'll have the opportunity to share your views with MNHQ on a variety of topics and with the companies we work with and chances to win vouchers OR
d) Follow us or retweet one of our tweets over on twitter page @MumsnetInsight

  • NB if you do c or d post on this thread to let us know you’ve done it to be entered into the draws!

Most of the product tests, surveys etc are on site but we also do a lot of projects with our lovely insight research panel, as well as often giving them the heads up about the latest things and chances to win on site. If you are not yet on our panel please do sign up now. You can select how often you get emailed and you can leave at any time if it’s not for you.

Thanks as ever for your time and feedback - all very much welcome Xmas Smile

Happy Christmas! Xmas Grin

Would be grateful to test anything really, but perfume, beauty products or electronics if I was being honest! Or something my teenagers would be interested in.

Minnibix · 27/12/2017 20:49

I would love to test a Robovac, I am sure our family could give it a run for its money, and an Airfryer to see if they are as good as so many say they are

mave · 27/12/2017 20:56

Would love to test the soreen!!

Almostthere15 · 27/12/2017 21:14

I've joined the panel. Would love to test a Dyson hairdryer or you know a luxury holiday Wink

rennie1811 · 27/12/2017 21:34

I love it when you do the movie reviews as it is a great chance to see what the kids think of new releases. I love reading the reviews afterwards.

Stephgr8 · 27/12/2017 21:51

I'd love to try a leading brand hairdryer such as Dyson or Parlux. Alternatively I'd love to try a decent vacuum cleaner, preferably a Miele or Dyson.

freefan · 27/12/2017 22:03

I unfortunately never got any tests this year so I would love to be lucky enough to be chosen next year for any of the lovely products

KakunaRattata · 27/12/2017 22:12

I've clearly not complete registration in the last as never had an email despite ticking the box! All done properly now!

Anything I can take to the gym/use at home to mimic gym time, or things to keep me organised would be the kind of items I'd be a good one to test.

Butteredparsn1ps · 27/12/2017 22:15

Been really lucky this year to test the Monqi phone and to check out a new Bunnings store.

I’m generally Curious about new products and like to know if they are any good, but I’m especially interested in kitchen and household gadgets. And naturally any luxury goods or travel experiences that need checking out...

I’ve bought an electric car this year and though I love it, I’ve been disappointed with the availability of charging units. If the govt really want the nation to embrace EV the charging network needs to improve exponentially and I’d love to test some solutions for this. Pretty please.

lhlee62 · 27/12/2017 22:25

We got the Moshi Mystery Box Test and my daughters really enjoyed the boxes. I would love to test more kids toys.

feeona123 · 27/12/2017 22:39

I'd like to test a cordless hoover!

pfcpompeysarah · 27/12/2017 22:46

I would love to 'test' a new sofa, ours is falling apart at the seams thanks to some rather overly-exuberant jumping on the part of my son, and a kitten who thinks it is dessert!! I enjoyed testing my new HP laptop, great for everyday use and well worth the money.

kayleigh39 · 27/12/2017 22:52

I've enjoyed taking part in many reviews - the children have to! I've also enjoyed reading the input of fellow users.

Carriecakes80 · 27/12/2017 23:11

I would love to test out any kiddy toys, or places to visit!! With four young 'uns day outs can be hard to sort, so would be great!

Good luck to you Anne, may your new Year be merry & bright, thanks for everything!!! xxx

k8vincent · 27/12/2017 23:29

Tested the Nokia Thermo Smart Temporal Thermometer, which turned out to be massivly useful when DS1 had a fever at the beginning of December.

gemima27 · 27/12/2017 23:34

would love to test a kitchen gadget...something new and innovataive, something to inspire my cooking

purplevamp · 28/12/2017 00:00

I'd love to test a Kitchen Aid mixer. Every year I put it on my Christmas list and every year I never get one. Sad. I nearly got one this year but DH bought a computer instead as we desperately needed a new one.

tillymint21 · 28/12/2017 00:03

I loved being chosen for the Sanctuary wet skin moisturiser and really enjoyed using the product, and was over the moon to win some vouchers in a Cadburys feedback thread. I was gutted not to be picked for the Duvaley mattress survey but really enjoyed reading the feedback and now definitely want one of the mattresses. I'd love to be a tester for kitchen appliances or a vacuum cleaner.

Holly221288 · 28/12/2017 07:50

We have had some great fun (and been very lucky) with the Insight panel this year. Highlights for the kids were the Moshi subscription box and the yogurt/purée pouches. Also had some beautiful books! Thank you Insight

angiehoggett · 28/12/2017 08:38

I'd like to test anti aging skincare to see whether price has any standing on the results you can get!

mkinsey · 28/12/2017 11:10

I've just joined the panel! Can't wait to test out things and give my opinion in the new year Grin

Sellins · 28/12/2017 11:23

I'd like to product test the new pain pod device

CMOTDibbler · 28/12/2017 12:15

Me too Sellins - in fact I'd love to see more product tests around health and disability as things are so expensive and its hard to know whether they will actually work

lizd31 · 28/12/2017 13:13

I would love for you to product test a product which I discovered myself this year GO! Kombucha. It's fermented raw tea but is absolutely delicious & has really helped my energy levels as I suffer from fibromyalgia. I had been really poorly for months, sleeping 16 hours a day, until I started to drink Kombucha & now I don't sleep at all during the day. There are various blends of tea & different sizes of bottles to try & great offers for bulk buying. It's made such a difference to my life so I'd love others to be able to try it to see if it helps them

beckyinman · 28/12/2017 13:38

I'd love to try the Dyson hairdryer - they look cool but are out of my price range!
