Sound of Music - not because I love it but because I remember watching it every year at Christmas with my mum because she loved it, it's one of those nice memories that you wish you could relive again now that you cant.

Personally? Bad Santa. It's a genius film where almost every scene is comedic brilliance.

Maybe not for the family though - wee bit too rude. I'd go for Home Alone 2 in that instance, very christmassy, lots of fun with still plenty of (Cleaner) humour.

diddiebiddie · 11/12/2017 02:26

It's A Wonderful Life - I watch it every year - It always makes me laugh and cry

lastkisstoo · 11/12/2017 02:57

A Muppet Christmas Carol. A wonderfully Christmassy feel good movie that my whole family love. We know it word for word!

The Polar Express - always took my children to watch this film at our local cinema every year at christmas and it always meant christmas was not very far away.

It's Love Actually for me and my daughter (15) now too. Just because it's a great feel good film and is funny as well.

Nikx85 · 11/12/2017 08:39

Bad santa has to be my christmas favorite. I discovered it when i was pregnant with my first and had been sent home from work ill. Its now a bit of a tradition to have a duvet day in the run up to xmas and watch it!

jazzitup · 11/12/2017 08:46

The Muppet Christmas Carol is a family fav.

JBH316 · 11/12/2017 09:06

I do like Bad Santa - a christmas movie with sweary words AND it still manages to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Perfect!

Pimmpom · 11/12/2017 09:19

The Polar Express - a magical film that the whole family enjoys Xmas Smile

strikingstarlet · 11/12/2017 09:36

As an adult it has to be Its a Wonderful Life, sometimes amongst all the stress and expense of Christmas it’s hard to remember why we do it and what this time of year is really about, This film fill me with warmth and strips back why I love Christmas and makes me very appreciative of what I have.

Dessallara · 11/12/2017 09:41

The Polar Express. Already watched it 3 times this month, my girls love it

cathyov · 11/12/2017 09:42

Frozen - a lovely seasonal happy family film and we all adore Olaf.

cathryn1 · 11/12/2017 09:50

Polar express for us

Tonkatol · 11/12/2017 09:54

Home Alone 2 is our family favourite.

Surprisingly, following on from Home Alone, this film is just as entertaining. It is full of humour and is a film that we can all watch together and laugh at. I think every child would like to be Kevin, who gets into so many adventures whilst separated from his family. It also shows good winning over bad and a good turn being rewarded which, as a parent, I believe is good for children to see.

sarahw2 · 11/12/2017 10:18

The Polar Express - we watch it every Christmas Eve!
